I only have one complaint with PGi/IGP, too much incompetence.

If it isnt incompetence then it must be corruption. CW wasnt even being worked on even after telling paying customers who helped found your game, just 30 more days over and over. PGI is a corporation who is only interested in your wallet. Vote with your dollars if you are upset. Dont give PGI any money if you dont like the product they are putting out. Let PGI know that you are unhappy and find something that is enjoyable and worthy of your hard earned cash.

Fine and good.

Hey guys, what's going on?
How was everyone's weekend?

Had my birthday, went to the desert and was having fun driving in a sand rail and setting off fire crackers and mortars and consumed a fair amount of alcohol which served to enhance the good times.

Awesome
GF and I tried to go camping out in the desert, but that gnarly wind came up, so we spent the weekend at home instead.
Brownchicken, browncow.
Then we got the call that her mom passed on Sunday, so that was kind of a downer.
When I become the Evil Overlord, I'm going to decree that people are not allowed to pass away on holiday weekends.

About you and your GF.

As for the part about your GFs mother passing, that really sucks as that must be hard. I had a friend and 3 family members pass less than a month apart just recently.

Yes we are being off topic but at least what we are saying is far more interesting than someone posting that they are quitting MWO like a drama queen.

Well, less of a "topic" and more along the lines of someone looking for attention and a shoulder to cry on.

I wish my weekend had been as nice as Coralld's.

I spent an hour or so Sunday listening to somebody try to convince me the TV show "Jackass" wasn't about people bein jerks (IE: Jackasses)

It aint for the "adult" videos that's for sure.

On a completely unrelated note - just finished the new Legend of Zelda game - found out it had a "Heroic" mode (or some other similar title)

....and my sister's dog ate the cartridge. ;)

Multiplayer games.... I can understand, don't necessarily like it, but I can understand.
Single player on the other hand.... :)

StarCraft2 only requires you to be online once to activate the game and for multiplayer games. The solo campaign can be played offline.

As I do not like the restriction for multiplayer, I still play the original StarCraft whenever I meet up with my friends for a LAN-party.

I will admit - part of the reason I have not bought (or even really looked at) SC2.... is the last time I played SC, was the first time I worked clear through the campaign

....September 11 2001.

I sat there and played to have something to do with my hands as we listened to the news, and I have not been able to play it since.

Well... I was playing MPBT3025 at that time.

As much as that day was a tragedy, I didn't let it dictate my life. Sadly, others do it now, using 9/11 as an excuse to try and control my life and that of everyone else, in the name of freedom and security. But this is not the place to discuss such things...

Back to games!

I recently digged through my old games and installed Ascendency again. I loved that game and I already logged more then 20 hours of gameplay again. Irritatingly often those good old games are still good.
