Update (10/27/14): Wow. It's been an impressive couple of months for PGI. I have "spoilered" the last update since I meant it at the time and won't pretend it didn't happen, but my excitement level and willingness to spend on MWO has been largely restored. This thread will stay dormant so long as sales are announced, but should PGI resume stealth sales, I'll now happily resume blowing their cover. If this should happen, please let me know!

</p><p><strong>3) The most recent round of nerfs were a bit of a "final straw" for me. While I don't think they're as awful as some changes, they are yet another example of misguided, heavy-handed whack-a-mole changes that address symptoms and not causes (and only sometimes succeed in addressing symptoms). While I'm too direct to ever have been the whitest of knights, whatever claim I had to that title I no longer wish to have and thus I'm no longer willing to support PGI by "advertising" as this thread does. </strong></p><p>
</p><p><strong>I intend to reduce my participation in these forums to near-zero for the same reasons.</strong></p><p>

Guys: With the hot fix a couple days ago, PGI has the capability to do sales without downtime. More to the point, they have done a couple without any splash announcement on the site. Last night, Golden Boy was on sale, the night before, it was one of the Dragon heroes.

So if there's something you want, it's worth peeking in the store regularly, you might be pleasantly surprised!

EDIT on 2/24: This thread has gained traction and PGI has kept with the sales, so it should be in the first post: this thread will be updated as the sales change, by me (or others, that's the "traction.")

Seems kinda like the "clearance rack". And there, sitting in a previously opened and then taped-shut box... Pretty Baby. The last owner didn't want it - but it can be yours for half price!!!! Even at half price it's not worth the aggravation.

Sure enough, today I got a Jester half-price, which I would not have expected to have been on sale so soon.

Yes, it's not the greatest Mech, but still...I have a blast in e-builds.
