Doesn't really snipe well. (low mounts, and the direct fire potential is limited 1B and 2E with the E in CT)

Zombie is a classic, I run mine as support though - AC/5 2ML and LRM for indirect fire.

having a lot of luck with an augmentation of the "stock" build. Swapped to xl275, ditched the srm4s and put in artemis enhanced srm6s, switched to standard armor and stuffed in seven tons of srm ammo. toss in a couple dhs and balance armor and there ya go. 90 kph wrecking machine

It's a nice idea, but comparing this to the earlier challanges it's far too easy to get. You could as well just donate it to everyone logging in in this time frame.

By the way, I can't sell the mech as it's not in my Inventory list even after relogging twice. It's configurable and all in the mech lab, but can't sell it nonetheless. So no free mechbay for me?


EDIT: Found it. It doesn't have a name in the inventory...

About what it comes with stock (called a zombie because you can lose more than 90% of your mech and still keep fighting - literally more than 90%)

Some prefer SRM6 over the 4s, some use MPL rather than ML, but the basic build is full lasers in the CT (some even use large lasers!) and 3 SRM.

It's like... you should be dead, but you're not.

The CT is kinda larger after the hitbox change however. Most classic Cent-A builds (try mechspecs for ideas) still work well.

Easiest fix over the "stock" Cent-A Champion build is to remove the pulse lasers and sub in regular lasers. It'll allow you to have better heat sustainability and more armor and the opportunity to add BAP, so that ECM won't hurt the ASRM4s it comes with (as much).
