So SRM2s are only 5x better than AC5s and not 10x my bad! Still as long as you have ERLLs or AC2 or Gauss with your SRMs you will own that AC5 boat in every range. I do it all the time. And SRMs don't scatter as much as people claim is like knowing the spiral sweetspot of old. Like I said I use em on every build especially in 12mans. Hint: Gauss/MLs+3-5SRM2s is a beast combo for a fast medium, still not in my top 3 though.

The question is does PGI pull 1+ of their 6 people off CW to 'fix' something that isn't broken (yes it needs tweaks)....no way.

Oh I don't think we're gods. I just don't think we're less important than other technical professionals. I was just responding primarily to the "[profession x] is far more relevant" part of the post. I appreciate there are hobby/casual coders out there, but that's like saying that there are hobby astronomers out there. The entry-level stuff isn't that hard. However, the high-end stuff definitely isn't "cake" and requires a constantly evolving skill set and requires a great deal of abstract thinking.

What is your average ping and how much does it vary? I know this is not the only factor, but there is a trend. I think everyone who reports anything about SRMs (good or bad) should report this data as well. Otherwise we aren't working with much.

I fail to understand why it is a choice. To borrow a page from the "Art team doesn't code other things" playbook - the people charged with coding CW are probably not the same charged with editing the xml files that govern weapon stats. Further, I'm sure they can borrow the one programmer charged with debugging network latency and HSR issues from designing CW, assuming that person is even part of the CW team.

Now you're talking. Spiral flight was bad ass. I'd also love the undulating spread back as well. That allowed us to minimize spread by picking the right range.
