I could go for that, how about one arty strike as your long range support weapon?

Sounds good to me!

Players only have so much time to play. PGI has made team play so clumsy and time consuming that people would just rather PUG.

Exactly
Then act like it's a big surprise more people play solo now that they've put limits on groups, made it difficult to do, etc.

yes dude, since the entire post and quote were referring to the previous limits. In other words more people dropped group before they placed limits on groups.

Now we've been asked a lot if consumables are used-up in private matches and the answer is yes, they are used up, so it's up to the player to decide whether to use them or not to use them. In private matches, at this point it will not be possible to earn XP, C-Bills or unlock achievements because in private matches stats aren't tracked for exploitation reasons..

Spend cbills on consumables
Don't earn cbills to replace those consumables

Seriously. Nobody at PGI looks at this and thinks "So we're asking players to spend cbills but not allowing them to earn more. This is supposed to be viewed as a "good" decision by the players?"
smh

Note: This isn't Miss posting, she just offered a transcript of the Vlog

But you forget - paying customers might be able to band together to exploit the system! Clearly they'll be able to earn c-bills faster here than by playing the game normally!

A tutorial would be fine. Teach them how to fight, then let them queue up *as it exists now*.

Keep in mind that that noob will have his own 1100 rated 733C on his side as well, in all likelihood. And the 733C we were talking about will have his own new players. And at the end of the day, each team still has roughly a 50% chance of winning, assuming their Elo is consistent.

Because remember: This is a team game, and you win or lose based on how your team does. And if you win enough, you go to the next bracket.

If PGI had not done their up most to wreck the team aspect of the game.
New players could join said factions and find good teams to help train them.
Lone Wolf players will figure it out on their own.

It's funny, I don't even really care anymore. I know my buddies and I will find something else to play. SC looks very promising. that Masakari pack just got spent on another game simply because I cant' play with friends because we will "exploit the system and earn to many cbills"

No way dude! Those evil premades are artificially raising their ping to win! Nothing but rolfstomps every match! Small lasers are too good for their tonnage!

I didn't have time to read all 23 pages, sorry. I wanted to add my $0.02 as to why I don't do 12-mans. Yes, I actively avoid it. My unit asks me and I say, "No, thanks." Why? Because I prefer brawling and the meta is super-anti-brawling and has been for many months. SRMs don't work and PPCs still work far too well. Poptarting requires no bravery and lacks anything resembling excitement, for me. Boring. Make brawling viable again and I'll give it another try.

teamwork goes a long way to making something viable. I'm able to do so well in my laser boats because my teammates have gotten used to my playstyle and I theirs. We've learned to compliment one another with how we play.

Not only that, but you get early access to freshly baked K Town cakes.
Even though K Town Cake is only wanted by 14% of the playerbase.

Sandpit's got my back yo (thanks!)

I was indeed being sarcastic. I actually can't think of a way for players to farm money in private matches that would be faster than just dropping solo/groups in PUG matches. Sure you might be able to farm C-Bills for one or two players (by having them strip the other team) but there's still a net loss in terms of income for the group.

Private match exploiters has become the new boogeyman.
Can't allow groups because Evil Premades are just out to ROFLSTOMP PUGS...
Can't allow groups to have rewards because Evil Premade Exploiters will (insert evil thing premades do here) the system.
