Also, totally random aside: I made a pile of c-bills during this event, and I didn't even notice it! That's one good thing about the tourneys. You're so focused on playing well and placing that the profit is totally ignored.
For me, at least.

Major kudos to you. I've been (aside from the few groups I did with a nice bunch of guys just now) grinding my Cicada's like nothing else the last couple of days. Averaging 450 damage and 2 kills and I'm at 126 atm. Cup of coffee, quick bite to eat them I'm putting in another two hours of solid praying that the PUGs on my side aren't morons who think that scattering to the winds is the way to win games.
With any luck I'll break the top 100 and be a very happy moon.

And now, after TESO does not catch me, i am back to EU IV (Ironman Mode) trying to make East Frisia at least once in history a World Dominating Power (But EU IV combat sucks way - its a ******* Action Game now instead of Grand Strategy in that regard in a sadly bad way) and my savegame broke so i have to restart.
I'll have to look into Europa Universalis. The only grand strategy games I've played are the Total War series (most notably Medieval I and II). Those and Crusader Kings are the only strategy games that interest me much, purely because they seem to encompass the nuances of forging alliances and trade routes more than simply steamrolling your enemies with superior force.
Now, where did I put my MEII-Total War discs...

Oh, well. I think I hit my performance ceiling hours ago, anyway. Good luck, pilots. The competition is fierce.

I must say, games were totally different than normal weekend, and that is in good way.
There were totally different variety of mechs than normal.
Maybe we see more these kind of weekends or time periods with some prize for winners.

Thats so far for me, I will take a look at the game at the next tournament, maybe they can do meds vs meds, or similar match ups.

focus on last sprint
Lights with 2nd place and first place.
Assaults since Schoppenhauer logged on, he might still grab the second.
Skyer Stralende: Great Effort, catching up on Shadowhawks - if you can get past me, I'll hand it over. (Even if i haven't seen you a single match)
During the entire tournament I would think that Proton is the uncontested king for starting last day and crushing all the tough competition, kudos.

There is a certain ranker that I strangely have not come across in any of my matches and I played... A lot of matches. (another ranker also gave me the same feedback)
Edited: typo
Which ranker are you talking about? Me?
I don't think it's that dubious to not meet somebody. I only recall dropping with Edmiester and Coburn and nobody else out of the current top ten, but I saw a lot of people from the other lists. It's very possible that I missed some, because I don't look at names too often, but I'm pretty sure there is nothing fishy going on. Just time zone differences and lots of matches.

he means the current #1 I'm pretty sure about that. Haven't come across him yet either .and that's why they should equalize ELO for tournaments in my opinion..
The light leaderboard is especially interessting if you look at the builds:
With Shin and Ed staying true to Embers and Jenners (Hit and run plus buttwiping) Lord Az is going with a 3L with 2x ER Large ho[ing for one of those "Raven saves the day" matches

Coming out as 99th with a score of 1940 with my SHD
was just the cherry on top
And most important, I have improved my driving/aiming skills

I've seen you though! =) You're a great pilot! I'll be happy with #2 if it keeps, but I just wish I'd had more of the weekend to give you a better run for the money! =D

Ah, okay. Haven't seen him either. Maybe he plays conquest exclusively, then I would never see him (giving him the benefit of the doubt).
I'm also in a 6 ml Jenner by the way. Tried some games in my Raven as well, but it didn't work out. Getting 10 matches like that is almost impossible.

Yet another person says the same thing... What ever floats the leader's boat...
Zuff too bad I didn't come across you would have wanted to scope your builds as well.
Nice tournament all.. Good to have one after a long time.
It was lots funny fight along or against the current top light pilots (Well almost ALL light pilots)..
Edit: Woowie.. Ed got back top spot !!
