scoreboard is bugged . quit accusing people of cheating.

I was in a game with Eglar and he did 700 + with 2 kills.

so if the matchmaking is working right he would be still top in SH.

Any event is welcome in my eyes.

It is kind of disheartening seeing a habitual disconnect farmer in the top ten. This guy self killed and disconnected for like a week straight. This leads me to believe that to win you'd have to do something shady like he would.

Is it me or something gone wrong with the heavy leaderboard(it stopped updating at all) and other ones got wrong formula?

It's all the leader boards, there all bugged. They were not working right last tourney either, but they weren't this bad...

No, it looks like everything has stopped updating. Heavy and Assault are the only leader boards using the correct formula as well.

I think so too. Played only 9 matches and I'm still at #8. Something doesn't match up here...

Via twitter: @russ_bullock: Your score may change but it will be based on all the matches you have played. Thanks to those that spotted errors. + Btw yes were correcting a tournament formula bug. Boards will republish when fixed but dont worry nobody will lose any of their stats/rounds

What's with the dorked up scoring? I had 2400+ points then I checked and I had 1400ish points. And why does my Cicada score also show up under the KTO? Something is wrong with that program.

Indeed. I don't understand why we are forced to use Twitter to keep track of what the hell is going on with this game. Or any other social network, for that matter.

You have an entire forum to inform us, your customers, about any issues you may or may not have. And yet you post it on Twitter?

Seriously. Not all of us have twitter or FB accounts. But you penalise those of us who do not? Dooming us to rely on those who do to provide us with information?

Something is very wrong here. Post your announcements in the "Announcements" section of the forum, then post it on Twitter. Do not rely on your fans to relay the messages to us. This is just poor customer service. Why bother with the forum and/or the dev only sections of the forum if you do not use them?

Is there anywhere we as players can talk to the devs to voice our complaints without having to go to Twitter or any other asinine social network site? Please point me in that direction.

I try not to complain much, but this issue with Twitter has really struck a chord. Why are we forced to create accounts/follow you folks on Twitter when we have this forum? What is the point of this forum otherwise? It's just as easy to create an "MWO" page on Facebook for us to talk about the game on. Here was me thinking that a forum was somewhere we could all talk as equals. Apparently not.

(Look up the definition of "Forum", this is merely a place to exchange ideas. None of the ideas are exchanged because, it seems to me, the devs rely on other sites to convey their views. Something is wrong here. Very wrong).

I dont have any mediums or above mechs yet, DO the Trials count?

And I am definitely going for the Light Tourney and I have 7 games under my belt already 4 wins 3 losses. ANyway if I started playing a medium would I start from scratch on the medium? or are the games played account wide(IE my 7 games on my light count toward the medium bracket if I go medium)

If so I will just use my light for 20 games and be good..

Can somebody do an adequate job of explaining the scoring formula? The one on the Announcments page is ********. Maybe an example? I mean, what does (Player damage - Team Damage) / 15 mean really? That's normally gonna be a negative number. Thanks.

I think team damage here means the damage you did to your own team. Unless you kill way more your own team members than opponents, that should end up a positive number.
