Busted my +++ all night Friday, had some really good games and thought I was doing well. Never even broke into the Blackjack top 20. Saturday I got roped into an all-day road-trip with my beautiful, loving, and yet deceptively cunning girlfriend. Sunday is all about doing the homework I put off to grind on Friday.

So that's that. A big salute to all the winners, as well as sympathy with all of us who tried our best. We'll get 'em next time!

Anyway. Nice Event. I would have prefered if you Enter also the best Lance Drops.....

In terms of the leaderboards, I just managed to peak at 40th place in the Hunchback ranks last night, but drifted down to 59th by the end of it all.

It was a little surprising to get that high [as of last night] with a dual AC/2, dual ML Hunchie. I guess dumping 7 tons of accurate, high-velocity shots does make the damage ticker shoot up, and my play-style lends to copious Assists (since I try to play the role of a counter-marksman Suppressor). I also am brave/stupid enough to lead through the charges with my Hunchback when our team moves forward, and whenever I feel like we haven't moved far enough I just keep going and rally the advance along. I get so many different people shooting at me that my teams get their free choice of distracted targets... my W/L ratio for this tournament has been incredulous.

Managed to get 20 ish solo drops in (mostly 2 man'd with my friend though this weekend)

111th in Heavy category Which actually is much higher than I expected. Did have my highest scoring (and first over 1000 damage) match ever though, in my Orion-K.

Many awesome matches this weekend, seemed like fewer steamrolls than usual, lots of good team cooperation, and many close and hard fought battles

2009 {cracked the 2k} 86th currently of assaults, my laserboat makes me happy. i doubt i'll get anymore matches in so *sigh* i'll have to live with that. people topping 2600's must have an average of 5 kills per match with a few 7 maybe 8 kills thrown in. for a lumbering assault that's impressive... or their teamates are incredibly slack. ;P

competition has been surprisingly fierce, saw few lords but a few matches with peter2000 edmiester and co were highlights along with a firestarter kill, top peak of alpine as he jumpjetted blew a leg off, the spark shower and descent was epic!

congrats to the top ten of every catagory real tenacious warriors out their and i applaud them!

Not supposed to be over for another 8 hours or so, but they've had to repeatedly unbork their leaderboards, so I'm not surprised they're not available right now.

I don't see a score either.
I was 4th in lights and Edmiester was 6th, but then he had some good matches and moved up to 3, pushing me to 5. I hope that's the end result.
And my Shadowhawk was on 34 last time I checked.

They better fix friggin lights after this tourney, just absurd what 3 spiders can do from point blank with zero fear. They can claim all they want spiders are broke, but point blank zero damage from ACs must just be bad aim hey.

Lights have been broken since forever, and what do they do to address the issue? They release a tougher light with tons of energy hardpoints, capable of doing exponentially more damage than other mechs in its weight class.
