Yeah bullshit on those... I want to see how that is calculated with ELO and the MM SYSTEM in mind. Also, if that is the case then we are losing a player base.
I don't see that accurate every match based on your ELO. Not a chance. It can't be relative either.
As long as we get a choice in the lobby system it's all good. Sadly there may not be a playerbase left to use it in.
Premade will always have he advantage until this is fixed.

Honest question.
Without considering the number of players, since that is PGI/IGP's fault not a specific player bases.
What is wrong with at least two queues like new/solo and sync drop/any number of pre mades ?
Honestly what would it hurt?

There's nothing "wrong" with it
It would hurt in a lot of areas though in my opinion
I honestly feel more solo players would opt into the group queue if given the option because even though they themselves may not be in a group, there's generally more teamwork used (which would be even more so if they were dropping alongside 8, 9, 10, or 11 teammates) in those matches and you'd get less roflstomps which is really what's at issue here.
If I'm right then that would lead to another dynamic. You'd see less roflstomps in the group queue but with less players in the solo queue, you have new players joining the game that no longer have a large pool of players to fill out their queue. The diehard solo players would remain but you'd also have the ggclose crowd sticking around knowing they will have an easier time stomping new players. They would match up more often in those cases because there would be less players to help fill out the MM and match up against players closer to their skill level.
Then you still have the vets that are in the Elo range but aren't dropping in trial mechs. They're still going to drop against new players in customized mechs which is one of the more prevalent causes of roflstomps. It does nothing to change or stop that dynamic.
Now you have new players getting stomped more often and discouraged which leads them to leave the game. It's not going to help or stop that from happening. It can't, but instead of having more players in the game (and groups that are more apt to help new players and be able to carry them while they're learning) the new players have less players to help fill out their queue.
Does anyone really think once a queue becomes that toxic and average or helpful type players are going to touch it with a ten foot pole? Doubtful, they'll stick with groups queues. Now if I REALLY wanted things like roflstomps to continue and I was the type of player who was more interested in that kind of thing as opposed to a guy who just wants to drop with friends in any group size I wouldn't say any of this. I would support separate queues 100% and tout how wonderful they would be because pointing out what I am pointing out just shows to others that it's not such a great idea.
On second thought..........
Separate queues are the best solution. They should just implement separate queues. Then I'll be able to play in groups queue and not worry about the solo queue. I'll also never have to hear about how "I lost because there was a premade in the game!" nor will I ever have to concern myself again with being accused of trying to roflstomp anyone. You guys can have youe solo queue because I, for one, will never have to worry about how bad it gets in there

Nothing. This is exactly how they should be proceeding and hopefully, after they realize that forcing groups of 5-11 into private matches isn't going to work favorable for the game's well-being, they will consider it.
Also, even with launch module enforcing weight class restrictions, I'm a little concerned about their "quasi" solo queue that with still force solo players to fight against players in groups of 2-3.

I wouldn't count on this. If they move forward as planned now it's going to cause bigger communities to move on to another more team friendly game. It's a LOT harder to draw people back than it is to retain in the first place

Wow after all the flack directed at those of us that have brought up the issue of the separate queue/Pre made issue, I am surprised to see those same people now agreeing for various reasons.
Its too bad that this community has already suffered from previous viewpoints, but it is still good news.

I would say that is more attributed to typical human nature, you only complain about the bad. So those people who were complaining about premades have found their own and are now disagreeing with the pug crowd.

Think that had to do more with the messenger.
I don't recall myself or anyone else saying that a solo queue would be a bad thing,
But when you're arguing with Mudhutwarrior and everything is the fault of Evil Premades, from Ghost Heat to the Kennedy Assassination, the conversation tends to get a bit muddled.
I've always been for it, if for no other reason than despite numerous requests not to, to have to watch half my team trundle into the PUGZAPPER, single file, and die alone.

I don't think I've EVER said "No separate queues!"
I have, however, said numerous times in those various threads that it won't stop roflstomps, nor will it help the new player experience. You see more people agreeing with it because more of the "solo" players (since PGI seems to think that players who drop solo regardless of the %) want nothing to do with those that group. Now that they're talking about pushing groups out of the game (which is pretty much the consensus since bigger groups are now beginning to look elsewhere by their own admission and based on others I've talked to) those players realize that the quality of matches will probably drop as opposed to improve.
The only thing that will shift is WHO is doing the roflstomps, not the fact that they're in the game
