Let's just see how this will work out, before we bring out the nerfhammer. At worst, this mech is a joke, since the dakka is all on the left torso. At best, it invalidates most of the Atlases. Something will have to fail.

Especially if it doesnt suffer from leadfoot over terrain.. If it can cover ground like say a dragon, might be sweet indeed.

none of its weapons are in the arms. 2 energy left torso, 1 energy head, 4 ballistic right torso.
the banshee 3E will be the ONLY good one. The hero variant and other two variants will be awful.
Banshee 3E has the obvious meta build: 3 AC5s + 2 PPCs
But it also has a nice dakka build: 2 UAC5/AC5s + 2 AC2s + 3 MedLas.

to be honest yes. JJ are what are breaking this game atm. It will basically be the atlas but smaller The atlas can mount 2 ac5 and 2 ppc. You don't see it meta. I wonder why.

we'll have to wait and see. Still, getting a constant 15 pinpoint dmg to the face won't be my definition of "balanced" gameplay. I guess it'll be a good prelude to the Mauler.

It can already be done with many other mechs. It isn't, the jump sniper is the meta. JJ are king, or were, Im hopeful to see what this update does. If it does what I HOPE it will do... I will be dancing with joy

The fact idiots overpay for 15 damage?
Or the fact 2 UAC 5 and 2 AC2 will be better and far more deadly with a pair of LL to boot.
The list goes on and on.

And Lansalot why do you have to be like that? Don't insult people's build intelligence if you want people to join us, regardless of how worthwhile the build is.

This also means they can get extra tonnage by removing arm armor, like the k-2 cat

you should be able to keep most of the armor everywhere with a decent sized engine and the 2PPC x 3AC5 build and use the arms to shield.
