Yeah, nice pure energy build mechs. Why not just release the Hornet - nice 20 tonner with 1 LRM 5 and 1 ML. It'd be more useful.

Isn't Microsoft backing PGI now? Couldn't they put the fear of MASSIVE CORPORATE LAWYER BRIGADE into HG so we could have our damn Marauder?

PGI has rights to the IP through Microsoft until something like 2020, but that doesn't mean MS is going to be fighting legal battles for PGI.

Anyways, we will have a Marauder in a manner of speaking, as you can just make a Timberwolf without missile racks. Same with the Warhammer (Loki is pretty much dead-on) and Archer (MadDog, though this is a bit of a stretch, I agree).

Would have been a nice April fools joke LOL...

Well until half the forum raged out an quit when they found out it was a prank by PGI. Ok, nevermind, bad idea.

the april fools joke would be them announcing that its not going to be the urbanmech. and then subsequently releasing the urbanmech

The Loki and Vulture/MadDog aren't on the list of incoming clan mechs...though they'll probably be added in the future if PGI stays above water long enough.

The Summoner/Thor is just a Warhammer with a round missile rack, so it will do in the meantime. I always get those two confused (Thor/Loki).

The Thor is a slightly (5 tons) bigger Clan-built OmniTech Thunderbolt, while the Loki is a slightly (5 tons) smaller Clan-built OmniTech Warhammer. :)

My honest bet is on a heavy mech. But PGI did somewhat confirm a medium would be down the pipe. My guess?

Heavy: 70 Ton Guillotine

Medium: 45 Ton Vindicator

Very logical choice on the Vindicator, and that one has my vote as the next release.
