75 ton mechs

Bandersnatch 3052, but looks best.

Hammerhands

As for the Black Knight, MWO can't support this mech because of DHS 1.4 and Ghost Heat. It would just shutdown and kill itself.

I would totally use the bandersnatch. If only because the name makes me giggle like a five year old.

It can mount an AC20 just like the YLW can but has missiles instead of lasers. They removed it when the YLW was released.

We still haven't heard anything? Usually by Monday afternoon there's a pretty solid rumor over what's next.

Becuase harmony gold will throw a tantrum over the use of Macross/Battletech designs. or mechs based off the Macross/battletech designs.
Harmony gold owns the Distribution rights of Macross outside of Japan as RoboTech. Even Studio Nue, the original creator of Macross, is having trouble distributing Macross outside of Japan should give you an idea of how **** Harmony gold is about the situation.

Also, i'm not sure how Studio Nue would handle macross designs in Battletech either if harmony gold was not involved

One would hope, "in the same way that Studio Sunrise handled MWO's being able to use the designs from Dougram (specifically, everything in MWO's Project Phoenix package other than the Locust), and how Sunrise & Studio Nue handled MWO's being able to use the design from Crusher Joe (namely, the Locust)". :P

is that the one where you hit the "nethers" of the awesome and the cockpit pops out?
and then they made it canon or something like that

Something like that, yes. :P

"A near-instant failure with flaws in almost every major system, the 'Mech was nonetheless hurried to the front lines for the War of 3039 where it became both a laughing stock and a virtual death sentence for Kuritan pilots. Problems with the CASE system protecting the ammunition bins resulted in the auto-eject triggering when the torso armor was struck in a certain manner. DCMS MechWarriors found themselves rocketing above the battlefield, often at the most inopportune moments, and ultimately took to disabling the auto-eject."

How are we reading unreleased patch notes? Is there any evidence this is legit?

I hope not, those variants are dull
Just puzzling over the minor differences to what we have now is making me yawn

Thinking about how much time and resources PGI might have spent doing those rather pointless variants makes my brain hurt, especially if you consider that they could have used the time to actually work on the clan buster pack people want...

If true, then it's both interesting and infuriating.

The only ones I'm even remotely interested in are the Locusts.

The 1E is basically just a 3M. Functionally the same.. but better because of the extra energy hard point.
The 1M almost invalidates the 3S (at least for me), being you could now mount a TAG and a Small/Med Laser.

And it's such a small, pointless change too.

But hey, pinch of salt right?
