They said they will not. And what does that mean? OmniMechs cannot, their internal structure is hardwired. For once, they mostly respected the TT limitations and rules.. ;)

We joke that we take stuff. In actuality, in lore, it is more the Coyotes who take drugs to see things. Nova Cats generally get visions via meditation or physical exhaustion. Occasionally, however, yeah. It happens that we may or may not have a stash of Pyote somewhere...

Also, I'm not sure if you know that hovering your mouse over the pics of the mechs in the Clan page, this'll give you the hardpoints too.

I was going to buy a timber wolf but then im thinking "big mickey mouse ears, arms that stick out way to far from it's body"

it's going to like the catapult...really easy to disarm! But of course if Timber wolf is your style go for it

I have a feeling (i hope) they'll allow limited engine changes. Maybe not on launch, but much later is my guess.

Clans are all about speed. Must go fast! Except you, Adder and Kit Fox. You two stay slooooww. Firemoth on the other hand....

Sometimes a more serious firepower is needed.

And.. As an abitual Elemental player in MWLL.. A taxi Elementals carrier 'Mech would be very appreciated :)

hmmm at first i was like :) but then i'm like pondering... many people have requested the arrow IV system, it's something the IS and clans both have in the timeline and they differentiate only in tons, crits and range. the damage is the same! if pgi used their closed beta missile trajectory {the slow easy to dodge one} for an ac20 size missile i don't think it's inconceivable to put it into the game. think long range jager bomb with much worse direct fire weapon, it shouldn't be OP. in fact the naga and an IS mech which could use it {can't think of one at the moment} would be a great way to introduce the new tech.

it hasn't been done and no word is on it but it's certainly not impossible.

If it has a mandatory connection to TAG, I suspect it would be an excellent high risk high reward option.

I would like Arrow IVs. After all, honorable combat is a rare occurrance in MWO so artillery 'Mechs would have their place in a Clan formation ;)

I think the Catapult C3 variant could be introduced, it may be in the timeline.

We have different implementations options: without TAG (or NARC!), you can only dumb fire it and with TAG you can make them homing on the target OR they are homing the target without TAG or NARC but with a NARC they will have a far greater chance to hit and with a TAG the missile would hit the spot you have tagged. Basically, if you paint a rock with a TAG, the Arrow IV will hit that rock, and if you point the TAG somewhere else the missile will change trajectory. This is how TAG works in MWLL with both LRMs and Arrows.

In both cases Arrow IVs would be slow and easy to dodge if not used with a TAG/NARC.

The Clans went to the trouble of developing a high tech version. The Naga was specifically designed to carry two (they are hard wired) into combat. Clan Wolf attaches them regularly at Cluster level and most Clans have Artillery support at Galaxy level at a minum. It definitly has a place in the Clans according to Canon.

My request would be that it is not defeated by AMS, too heavy or whatever pseudo BS fits, but it should be hard to deploy effectivily (a spotter with TAG, TAG lock fades if its lost so they have to hold the target in TAG for example. Narc seems a bit too easy on first take to me).

A high reward high risk system that if used correctly could really rock someones socks.

A lot of good information here.

I have my choice narrowed down to 2, the Timber Wolf or Stormcrow. I think the Stormcrow best fits my playstyle, but the Timber Wolf just looks too damn awesome!

It has definitely its place. Our Alpha Galaxy has plenty of Naga 'Mechs. I mostly agree with you though i would not make it dumbfired without a TAG. Maybe only a good reduction of precision (kind of you can hit only a target standing still or moving very slowly, an average Atlas at max speed may or may not dodge it but the average heavy would easily). a TAG or NARC would give it a much bigger chance to hit, though a simple precision bonus is not interesting enough IMHO.

You could always start with the cheaper Stormcrow and then buy a Timberwolf. The Stormcrow is one of my favourite 'Mechs and an excellent medium IMHO. I may not go with full energy builds, but interesting ballistic/energy or missile/energy are possible. Lack of JJs is the only downside..
