1 jumpjet after the jumpjet changes seems silly.

For this price: meh.

The configuration itself is just a bit silly, I'd much rather have an AC10 instead of the LB10X. Not to mention its got all that ammo stuffed in the CT rather than CASE'ing it in the Left/Right torso to be safer as a brawler that tends to get its CT shot at a lot. By removing one double heat sink you can CASE it and get an extra half ton of armor protection in your arms to further shield your torsos with.

With 1 jumpjet, you'll be able to hover over rocks, or even lava!

And it was voted by the community!

I did try it out before buying a CTF-3D... it really isn't anything spectacular

I'd also switch the LLs and the MLs so you can get a bit of traverse with them...I'd also drop a Heat Sink for extra armour on the arms so that they don't just fall off...and switch to an XL engine so you can mount full jump jets. Actually, there's so many things that I'd want to change, that I just wouldn't buy this. Buy a standard 3D for c-bills and modify the hell out of it.

My actual question is this: WHERE?

I would have voted it down 10 times over. It doesn't even begin to explain how bad it is.

That is a good question. Where do these votes take place?

I'm not sure who I should be more annoyed with the devs for using those venues or the creator of those venues.

I had a similar opinion about the Stalker Champion... because killing the load of trial Champion Stalkers have been sadly easy and yet it does great for padding my K-D ratio. Fixing the Stalker Champion would have been pretty easy (swapping the XL engine for a slower Standard engine).

The problem with the Cataphract champion is simply the use of LBX. Unless the weapon itself gets a buff (preferably a simple pellet buff to 1.4, probably also requiring some reduction in crit generation), it's going to stay bad. The learning curve to make LBX even effective is already a problem.

You think the left hand had any idea what the right hand was doing? I mean, introducing this champion now would be as dumb as introducing the HBK-4P (c) the same patch you put in ghost heat; can you imagine something that stupid happening?

I too am incredibly curious what your source is on this. I remember that the very first champion (the dragon) was the result of having scores of builds submitted and then one of them was chosen by Garth, but after that, haven't heard a word on how they were being selected.

Oh you got me rolling (on the floor laughing). Now I have to work harder on countering that? Oh man.

It must be the Mechlab Whisperer. The same one that said "UI 2.0's mechlab" was "fine".

But seriously, you don't need to be a min-maxer to know that the 1-JJ addon to a mech is a terrible idea, especially knowing the nerf that was coming into the patch.

So the real question is why does this cost more than any of the Assault Champions when it doesnt even come with the XL engine of the stock 3D? Seriously id rather spend 3955 MC on a standard 3D that way i at least can get the XL engine to sell. I think whoever thought this one out screwed up when coming up with the MC figures by being lazy and just adding a little bit onto the stock 3D's price tag.
