Hey guys, Am I the only one that can't hear the engine sound of Atlas mech? ;) I don't know if this problem appeared after last patch or after I changed engine to my AS7-D today. I've put on it an STD 340. Well, engine sound of Atlas is the only one that can feel me so powerful. I can't play without that cool sound!
Any helps?!

Try running the MWO Repair Tool and see if that helps any. I'm pretty sure it's still there....

After a "repair" with MWO repair tool the problem is still there. Really no way to solve this? I want back my Atlas AS-7 engine sound ;)
Maybe it's a bug or something like that (STD engine 340 + AS7-D = no engine sound), I dont know so, I readed about another guy had the same problem in this forum: http://mwomercs.com/...-sound-missing/

HELP US!

Is it limited to the Training Grounds or does it still happen in a real match?

If it does happen in a real match, you probably may be better off putting in a support ticket letting them know about the bug.

in both mate: real matches and training grounds... Yes, now I try to re-download and install the game and if the problem will be the same I will open a support ticket ;) (I must find where to...)

Downloaded the entire game this morning and the problem is still here... NO ATLAS engine sound for my AS7-D.. The funny thing is that my friend tried my account on his pc and he can hear the atlas engine sound... what the hell? My pc is demon-possessed or what?

Did you turn down/off the sound effects in game or something?

No bro, I can hear all the sound effects: esplosions, other mech engines, my mech walking, everything fine but not my engine

Just surprised, that I'm the only one with the mixed up engine sounds?
While spectating and clicking through the Mechs, the engine sound from another player is played. It appears to be the correct sounds for that Mech, e.g. accelerating/decelerating/stopping, but simply is used in the wrong Mech...
An error while changing to another spectated Mech imo.

You are not the only one! I checked as spectator before, and clicking trough the mechs I hear same engine of first one for the nexts... ;) ;) <_<
Seems like an huge "engines problem"
What can we do?

Okay, not just me who is experiencing that.
Not much more to do than to report the bug once or twice, what we have done, and wait for a bug fix.

ok guys do not beat me, but I found out why the reason of the bug:
struck by a lighting while having dinner, I thought that maybe they could be my headphones Zalman 5.1 of septate bad, since I have recently installed Windows 8.1 ... Here, the headphones were fine-tuned to have a pair of rear speakers, and that prevented the sound of the engine of the Atlas! :D

OK my problem is solved. Thanks for your time... lol ;)

Yea, the sound controls for your sound card tend to make influence the audio quite a bit. Good thing it's just an accident. ;)
