What I do know for sure is that if you switch to DHS, you can swap your engine for a STD375 and load up on 20 DHS for slightly higher heat efficiency.
BNC-3E
Then your arms will get blown off and for sure you would lose 6 heatsinks.

Well besides the single heatsink was a little bit of a joke anyway because I knew 400 XL engine was asking for trouble why dos it even exist anyway? But heres my rebuild http://mwo.smurfy-ne...4d9491da7e4f364 of your build I put more armor in the legs I sometimes if I could cripple a mech then deal with it as a light.

The problem with having totally maxed out armor is that most of the time it leaves you with unitilized tonnage. In this case, you have 0.18 tons that aren't used on anything. You can probably reduce the leg armor to 75 each without risking too much, and freeing up enough weight to use on something like CASE or an AMS (if you somehow make room for ammo for that AMS).

Or you could strip nearly all the armour from the arms and end up with almost 4 tons to play with.
4.5 tons if you lower head armour to 12, arms to 8 and legs to 70.
Although, I don't know how good the arms are as shields. If they're particularly good, consider keeping a ton of armour on them. Definitely don't fully armour them though since they have nothing in them.

Total Heat for that build in TT
2xMPL = 8 Heat
1xSPL = 2 Heat
1xLPL = 10 Heat
(Mg's 0 Heat)
Total Heat = 20 (for an alpha) (total is 20.4 in MWO)
All you would need is 20 SHS to be heat neutral (standing still), which is the usual number Assault Mechs had.

Whats wrong wit hthe XL400? I use it on a few mechs and it does incredibly well. I do personally prefer the XL390 most of the time however.

WAY TOO FEAKING SLOW!!!
I immediately threw an XL380 in there. It seems that speed is life, even in a 95T Assault mech. You absolutely need to at least be able to get out of your own way.
