A couple goodies from yesterday. The first was a fantastic showing by Clan Nova Cat pilots in Alpha lance, including 0phialacria:



The second was later in the day, proving that, in theory, even in hell, no one is safe from a Warhawk. 10 kills for Alpha lance:



In case you have not figured it out, when I pilot an assault mech? I assault. Back me up or get the hell out of my way, stravag. Either way, I aim to run my pain train over the enemies' corpses.

Outdated configuration, lastkhan. I upgraded to full rere with the Siegebreaker Mk II configuration. Packing a 102 point alpha strike with the option for a 122 point unload with a single doubletap, this mech can strip the CT armor off an Atlas in a single salvo, and then some. Tricky heat curve to manage along with the four weapon groups, but the Gauss rifles do provide a heat free way to fight while the 17 DHS do their work.




Damage tests in live environments below. I was getting used to how insanely fast this build can overheat at the time. Had I a better feel for the heat curve of the mech, and a little better firing discipline, that enemy Dire Wolf at the start would have been crushed by me, despite his friends raining on my parade.

I am sorry.

I am sorry you were on the wrong end of my crosshair. Sincerely I am. I know, I know. You had to take that hill against the lone Dire Wolf, but coming one at a time is kinda stupid. I am sorry you realized your mistake after half your mechs were blown out and your CTs were open and flapping in the breeze. I am also sorry to my trothkin who did not have much of an opportunity to shoot at the threats I fired upon.

But, hey. If you are tired of being shishkebabed by me, maybe you should stop fighting it and join us. Shhh. Shhh. It is ok. Just relax and accept the inevitability: You are better served being on my team than on the enemy team.

Come to the Nova Cats. We have catnip and lasagna.

Trying to get in touch with Zeta Galaxy Clan Nova Cat. I know Groundpound Devalis is a member of Zeta. So few Nova Cats out there. Always have been. Would be nice to be in touch with our trothkin. We have three clusters of Alpha Galaxy that would love to know there are more Nova Cats out there alive and well.
