The Griffins I am leveling like this. May even buy one of the Missile Boat Catapults I have alreay Mastered just for the purpose of flooding the sky with LRMs.

See post above for a explanation as to why LRM's hit at a ridiculous angle, completely skipping cover. All a light has to do is press R now and days.

Link fire is the new way to shoot LRM any shots taken at 250m to 500 will be instant death. They did the speed increase when they first brought out the artimis fire control system in closed beta, and it created a butter zone of death were a mech had no chance right around 250m to 500m So some atlas moving at 47kph trying to close the gap to min range so he can give spam boy a beatdown doesn't have chance any more it just be a constant stream of link fire death.

Were not kidding you people they have messed up LRMs so bad in the past during closed beta and open beta that the game was unplayable. Just no point in logging because you would die as soon as a light mech pressed R.

Why do think I have one Catapult with 50 missile racks on it a tag and a m. laser. Its just so I could keep playing through missile Paloza.

LRM's got buffed? They are already horrendous cheese as it is, built for people that can't really handle direct confrontation.

Yeah great, my biggest gripe is when i'm having a stand up fight with another mech. Then all of a sudden some cheeseranger armchair samurai hid behind a rock with LRM's, will make me lose the fight because he is pressing two buttons using his no-skill LRM's. Most likely steal the kill too.

Now i have even less time to try and find some cover when this happens.

If they are increasing the speed they should reduce the angle they come in at, make using them require at least some slight level of skill.

We need to be split up into public faction's. I can't stress this enough this is MechWarrior online not will do whatever we feel like doing.

Were waiting on community warfare updates. Once UI 2.0 was out of the way all this stuff was suppose to roll out on a monthly bases as quickly as it could be made possible.

We haven't seen any new marketing to get more people to join in on the fun.

I would also add a entire graphics overhaul needs to be done to balance detail and frame-rate out

Your so secretive to the community as if this was still a closed beta game under development.

Screwing with a weapon system that in the past has caused a mass community bans during closed and open beta. along with mass forum protests. Oh yes were talking about the LRM! Is ill advised dumb and plain stupid. Especially since you haven't cleaned up the last mess you made when you twicked the angles of launch to the point that cover is worthless especially when spotted by a light mech.
We can't touch the damage on the LRM weapon but you can screw up any other aspect don't worry will review it all in month after we see all the negative results.

Destroyable terrain please.

Would have preferred an SRM buff...but whatever. I'll take whatever weapon buffs I can get.

These words do not match the reality of the game. It's long past due missiles of all types got some lovin'. If you're getting snuffed by LRMs raining on you while you're fighting, then you're not piloting well. What next? Complaints about snipers or other mechs you aren't dueling shooting at you? This isn't a single person FPS here, and you're not the hero, and you're not fighting stupid AIs who can't see or hear you from 200 feet away while you open up on their buddies with a squad automatic. That's what you need to remember.

BTW can you explain how this is different to ELO and why once the private matches are in you can't spend all your time happily playing with your non-screwing around chums?

Maybe they haven't finished developing it yet so don't want to roll out something that isn't going to be in the final release? Three months is a long time in development.

So, to recap, you want:
  • a rewrite of the ELO / "levels" to get rid of those "screwing around"
  • a new map
  • Community warfare NOWNOWNOW!
  • a rewrite of all the maps so you can blow them up
  • public release quality concept art
  • a new marketing campaign
  • a graphics/engine overhaul
  • effectively a rework of the weapons system
  • a rewrite of the matchmaker/forums to enforce factions/clans
AND
  • vanity content paid for with in-game cash, rather than actual money.
Do you maybe see a disconnect here?

They still haven't added NARC's SRM tracking ability.

With ECM, I'll be banning it from any private stock match, which ruins stock gameplay - If that 'launch' module ever gets off the ground.

Locust Legs will still snap off from full health to nothing from any decent salvo i really hope they give them more armour as well and haven’t mentioned it. Seems pretty ridiculous more armour fits on the cockpit than an entire locust leg.

IIRC there have been 3 of those, well some people only count two and honestly I can only remember the cause of two. There was what you said, and there was also the splash damage one where one salvo of LRMs would do so much damage you could literally destroy all of a mech. People had screenshots of their death screens showing just a floating Jenner head because LRMs destroyed everything else.

I'm thinking they're worried about the multiple changes at once causing another LRMaggeddon. None of the previous changes were supposed to cause LRMpocalypses but they did and this time we get a speed increase, and a double narc buff. How about just one change at a time instead? Granted I agree that unless there is another glitch, LRMaggeddon shouldn't happen but really LRMs were fine anyways. I know people like to say they aren't but I've seen plenty of people do fine in them. They are a bit of a situational weapon since some maps are better for them (but plenty of weapons and builds are like that) and you have to use them right but when done right you can get big damage and pin the enemy down. Stand behind a rock and launch missles 800m away at any target that shows up might not work well but keeping near your team and have a teammate spotting for you or firing at targets in sight will.

Why is everyone proclaiming another LRMocalypse already? We don't have any numbers on how much LRM flight speed and AMS range was buffed. NARC is still a 4 ton system that can only temporarily disable a 1.5 ton ECM.

If you're afraid that these will make LRMs overpowered somehow, then carry AMS, and drop with people that also carry AMS. WIth the increased AMS range, you'll be able to cover each other better and probably shoot down more missiles.

Because all we have is PGI's past history with weapon balancing and they've always swung it one way or the other.

I dunno why they're going the LRM buff now - they were in a good spot with few complaints from either side about them. This will only get more complaints from those that don't use them with LURMERS stating "they're fine" while grinning like a Cheshire cat. Then watch PGI swing the hammer the other way.

^ ^ ^ A little more AMS ammo per ton would be nice. I'm running through two tons a match as it is, and that's with one AMS. If machine guns spat out ammo that fast they'd be apocalyptically powerful. I think balancing LRMS is a problem of numbers. One spotter for one indirect fire lock. That's all you'd need to do. Missiles are crap one-on-one. The speed buff on missiles itself is fine and was needed. This probably is the death of the D-DC though. Easy to NARC, slow as crap and huge as a house? Heh. Target practice.
