I wish we could see what our top ten matches were in another chart. This lets us know what we need to shoot for, rather then hmm, was that one good enough?

They give you formula, put stats in and calculate out a score, if it doesn't budge then you have a rough idea.

Now that the tourny is over for me.
I must say.. The previous medium tourny was so, much more fun since there was ALOT of brawling in that one.

Going to take a break from MWO probably until the Apr 1st patch just to see will the the HIT REG/HSR/Hit Effect change improve the gaming experience...
If there is no improvement and LRM Meta still presists... Gonna take a longer break and grinding mechs, weapons, mods, etc.. in TF instead.

Even more clever than buddies standing around shooting one another is the guy who drops on the wrong side of the match and leads a lance of assaults under the waiting guns of the guys he has on teamspeak.

"Oh, let's flank 'em!" he says, and when we round the corner they were all there in a line... lotsa armor to chew off for them.

It amuses me to no end that people think it's the missile boats are the ones winning the tournament. In Liao's case, it's mostly Russians stoically blowing stuff up with Jagers and 'Phracts. Although I'd love to see the top 10 matches of each ranked player and what they used to get them. It'd be a very educational lesson in stopping the QQ.

Only if you opted into the tourny... (in the leader board.. Below the top 10 for kurita ;p) else.. Nope..

you said all that im just saying real tournys involve eliminating players and the best players eventually facing off vs eachother.

what we have is who can steal the most kills and crack out playing 50+ matches a day for 3 days straight.

I only made rank 245 in Liao. I probably should've played more games. In line with what you said, this account doesn't have a Jager and I'm sorta tired playing my Phracts but I did dust off my Dual AC/20 Boomcat again for some fun.

No LRMs didn't win. I am not complaining about them either for I find the changes to LRMs okay, however they made my life alot harder during that tournament. In Liaos case, the #2 Reddiablo from mother russia, I've seen him twice during the tourney eachtime when I was on a light. He was running Cicada 3M and a Victor-8B. Saw Effectz more often mostly in his HGN 733C but also sometimes in a VTR-8B.

During the tournament I was in the same Teamspeak Channel as Heimdelight for the most time, so I am fairly sure that he's been playing about the same amount of matches as I have. Because I've been playing with him before in 4 men pre-mades, his new-found playstyle irritated me. He was running far ahead of the group usually alone and taking huge risks by exposing himself. Most of the time, one would see him vaporating to dust due to lots of arties/lrms going his way. But it was exactly his kind of "big-risk" play that brought him his score.

My only complaint is that high elo players have an average search time of 9 minutes per match due to failed to find a match, when solo dropping. I hope you realize how frustrating that is for me when that #2 came really close at some point and made me break in cold sweat - but I couldn't drop!

Doubtful that I will keep playing after 123 exhausting matches, cause I am happy with being #1 fairly sure i would have gone over 200 when I was Marik for example.
