Had a couple of matches where a teammate did not have a blue friendly triangle over them (yes - I was far enough away to be able to see it) - I filed a ticket with PGI with a couple of screenshots and other data showing the problem. They say they have fixed it... I hope so. Nothing worse than mistakenly alpha'ing a teammate on so many levels, even though it is a bug.

Beware out there in PUGo land.

i think the screenshot says it all

I know what it's supposed to be saying, but...

I'm having a hard time hearing anything beyond "DAAAAMN! That is one BAD MOTHER of a CN9-A Pilot right there!".

So I guess my gripe is, the CN9-A is my favorite mech in MW:O, lore-wise, and you have truly illustrated how far I have to go to get remotely good piloting one.

Damn it. ;)

What weapons do you have? (Short range builds definitely need to stay out of the fight for the first 4 minutes or so, on the large maps.)

ECM boat, i get singled out whether i'm shooting down UAVs or not. Weather is pretty bad tonight!

If it was easy, it would be boring

Difference between easy, and NARCed/UAV overhead dead.

The amount of teamwork in matches is so uneven (as in, sometimes your team works, sometimes it does not, saw a group of Lords get toasted yesterday) that it gets frustrating, even for me. :(

Edit: miswrote UAV as ECM

Really wishing we had someway to know which players were newbs, noobs, or experienced veterans (aside from name recognition), so that we knew exactly which flavor of frustration to feel when they run their healthy mech away from a primary battle to go hide in a cave/hole/etc.

(or constructively: to identify if a player needs help or "help". <_<)

My whine for the day: I've been running my mediums lately. Griffins, Wolverines and Vindicators. And I enjoy it. I do, however, have to question the logic process in the minds of whoever pilots the Atlases or Dire Wolves or Stalkers or whatever other big, bad, scary thing is on the field when it appears said heavy and assault pilots apparently expect me and my medium compatriots to lead the charge at the enemy with our far thinner armor. It's the only reason I can imagine for them staying behind us even when we wait for them so that they can catch up with us and put their thick skins to use. I mean, I'll gladly join the charge and back up my bigger, scarier brethren, but I'd rather not join the charge and then suddenly find the assaults all stopped and waited for me to surge ahead at the last second, leaving me with my medium arsecheeks flapping in the wind.

Having to avoid playing during a comp...to avoid the meta competitives and their lame "win at all costs, no matter what it does to the gameplay" approach.

I've honestly found the solo queue to be much more entertaining than the group queue lately. Far less meta-humping. Heck, you sometimes even see mechs with loadouts similar to what one would _actually_ see in the BT universe rather than cookiecutter metaboats.

Yeah I've found simliar Steinar. Shame thought isn't it?
One thing PGI does fail at is reading player behaviour in response to changes they make. Hence we have our current meta situation:(

yes i share this same feeling. i'll move up in my medium to make sure nothing's around the corner/hill/point where 90% of battles takes place on said map to make sure there's no light waiting with NARC or whatever. then i stop and wait for the big guys to advance. they all stop where i am and stare at me expectantly. then when i intentionally back up to put them in front of me hoping they'd take the hint, they continue to stare exposing their rear armor to the enemy who actually took up a position in the battle area with their heavier firepower bearing mechs.

the ratio of 12-2 or less against me vs 12 to 2 or less for me-- is very heavily weighed on the against side.

Jump-jetting over a wall, getting stuck on the edge of it and doing the 'mech-hump' jiggle while watching my leg armor slowly change yellow, to orange, to red to dead while my JJs fail to charge so I can get out of the mess.
