tired of watching my ENTIRE team turn away from 11 enemy mechs to chase a squirrel..seriously WTF

PGI needs to eliminate the stats for kills from peoples profiles, because KDR is all people seem to care about anymore

saw a 8 man do this in group battles... oh my god, being the lance on the end of that, now having to play catch up and Laser Ring Around the Rosie

I'm so tired of being put in ****** teams that don't hold targets for their LRMers, completely lack ECM while the enemy has it everywhere, don't run in with their assault mechs to take positions, send 10 of the team after 3 flanker light/meds, play sit and poke with their assaults instead of charging in to take fire for advancing meds and lights.

Logic says the common factor (I.E. me) is to blame, but how the hell am I so awful I make 11 other players play like they left half their brain at home?

There is one variant that boat a hilarious amount of launchers.

KING CRAB KGC-0000 4xLRM15 (One ML replaced with TAG, if you want)

With 3K rounds, a STD300, it moves well (a bit faster than my BLR 1S LRM boat), 4 LRM 15s on chain fire, it can rain hell non-stop without over heating.

I always thought that if and when I ever got the highest match score on my team in a locust it would be something to celebrate. Until I did it with 2 kill assists and 200 odd points of damage :( I guess you will have those days. Hope everyone had a good holiday! (I did $30 worth of Karma koins so I got my Pirates Bane and will be getting the cicada mastery pack whoohoo!)

I experimented Loop... It's hard and really, done much better on almost every other platform. Worse, in many regards than a DDC LRM platform... No please, don't do that.

They should send a notification via text message when your team has formed up.

They should have just created a persistent world where anyone can join at any time.

just tried it as a joke build, actually was kind of surprised. now a bit of background my best mech is a clpt c4 so i am familiar with the lrm boat game. now this thing will never be the lrmishing beast the cplt c4 is, but if you keep the team between you and the red shirts. lrm boating is all about position. it can do ok. the 4ml don't hurt. a very situation dependent mech. not something i want to take to CW but in pug land it brings the rain. besides 60 lrms in one salvo gets through almost all AMS

defiantly not for everyone.

never liked to boat lrms on any of the atlases(or stalkers, the "king" of assault lrm boats) as the tube limits, well limited how many you could put in the air at once. IMHO YMMV to truly boat LRMs you must be able to put all your LRMs out in one salvo.

Being stuck at work, staring at computer screen for 12 hours, trying to look busy.

Ugh, I should have taken the rest of the year off like everyone else.

Having to sift through the posts in the CW forum-section by clansmen that cry because they do not have a seat at the table, such a pitiful display of self importance and lack of strategic insight is to be expected from pugs that try and command a 10-man drop in chat, sad that we have warriors among the clans that would guise themselves as trolls in bears clothing.

You can tell it is the holidays as there is a lot of new or less experienced players on right now. Ok, no big deal, we were all there at one point. But it is not hard to figure out two mech you just don't stand in front of. The DWF and KGC with low slung arms and HEAVY loadout, anything in front is going to face a beating. So why is it so many lights and mediums think playing at t feet of one of these monsters is good in any way. It was a laugh when a Jenner was running past about 60m out an cut between my KGC and the DWF I was fighting. The DWF was heat shut down so I know it was my shot that dropped them like a stone. But the flips side is when the Cent on my team steps in between and I get hit by the shots that miss him, yet I can't return fire without killing him. The point being, lights and mediums, if your DWF/KGC is firing, watch there back or at least don't run in front of them.

Amen. Almost killed a friendly Adder today because of their silly "let's run in front of the KGC that's duking it out with 3 THREE enemy mechs at the same time. The dual gauss alpha luckily had one bullet hit the ground, while the other clipped the adder's leg. Here's where it gets super stupid. The adder was equipped with LRMs, and the enemies were within 600 meters in open terrain. It literally had no reason to be in front of me. Yet there it was.

Yep, if your using LRM's, stay behind the direct fire mech. If you are in a Cat with big ears, your not a front line brawler with your 4 ML's. Maybe later in the match but at the start, keep back and let the ones built to slug it out get the job done.

"Dont go to gamma" I say (alpine peaks, conquest), "Epsi, sigma and theta are key"

What does our assault lance do? YEP: Went to gamma.

I think about DC-ing and then I get frigging angry at my team clench my teeth and go.

Huginn gets 6 kills, 2 assists, 831 damage ( which was 2x higher damage than the nearest person on my team and equal to the entire assault lance). In my angry rant "I am sick and tired of having to perform magic to save stupid pugs why did you go to gamma!" None of them saw me taking on the stalker and gargoyle alone. None of them saw me keeping behind the successive mad-cats so I dont get my face blown off. None of them saw me playing leap-frog with a SSRM crow to keep messing with his missile lock.

The responses:
"Its not you its the mec"
"your mech is op"
"stop braging anyone can do that in a huginn"
"you are a tard"
"Anyone could do that"
"The other team went to gamma" (they sent 1 Raven 2x not an assault lance)

In short -- I hate match-maker!

We are up 7-6 on Caustic. Five of us held the center, all heavily damaged... meanwhile a fresh warhawk cowered behind the rocks on the other side of the lake. Time is running out, we call for a regroup to the warhawk and push on the enemy which are also heavily damage. We push, I take down one then my red RT gets hit, down I go... spectating, our guys are too damaged and are dropping. What does the warhawk with virtually no damage do? NOTHING. He COWERS. Finally only him and his rock humping left... and the badly damaged mechs swarm him taking him out without losing another man. Score? 8-12. When we needed a fresh assault he hid... and that's what a lot of assaults do... hide behind the heavies and mediums.

Whine over.
