Don't whimp around and do it! What's better to pep up your daily routine than a shot of homecooked horror from the sunken city?

Some fine camping and bbqing tonight from my teams!
You'd think being x2 xp and all they'd be more keen to actually fight stuff-but no, same old campy hidewarrior.

in a drop on HPG..

look at the mini map...friendlies all around, no enemy mechs anywhere...but I'm getting shot in the back...wtf?

turn around...and no fewer than 4 friendly mechs are engaged with 6 enemy mechs...and NOT ONE ENEMY is being targeted by a friendly mech....my god... I could have saved to much armor had even one friendly bothered to press R (really, its not that hard of a task to complete to actually target an enemy mech)

predictbly, we got rolled...

The Goal: Double xp weekend, 24-hour premium time code, chasing daily x2 xp -> x6 xp!

The Result: Matchmaker pushes me into several hours of losses netting x1/4 xp each. gg.

edit: and naturally, whining about it makes me win. hurray!

Between matches today, I heard faintly the mouth-watering refrains of Turkey in the Straw, as played by our local Ice Cream Man. I quickly counted change to be able to buy another one of those awesome chocolate covered chocolate caramel chocolate salted cashew bars. For thirty minutes, my ears were tuned to his location...closer, farther, closer, farther, then more faint...CLOSER NOW. OMG.

And then he just drove off into the distance. SON OF A MECH, he tempted me for almost an hour, and never got closer than a few blocks away. DAMN YOU ICE CREAM MAN!!!

I have someone that I cannot talk to without being told that I am one of the worst and rudest humans in existance

Who tells me that "I am sorry" is not only NOT an apology - but is proof that I have a multitude of mental illnesses.

A person who is apparently polite to everyone else...

And thus I should "just ignore him"

Hard to do when the first thing he does after I put him on ignore is post in every single thread in my post history.

It's a shame when you put people on ignore that it even shows they have posted to be honest. But then, if that happened I wouldn't be responding to this one

In a recent match. The time I used one of my assaults and in a match goes slowly forward with guns blazing like no tomorrow, theres these two lights trying to get past me. Mechs who almost always have JJ (think it was a spider and a panther this time around).
But no, not these two. They had to get past me and right into my hail of fire against 2 enemy heavies!
Glad they didnt get team killed by me or hammered by the enemy. They had to see me firing like mad, judging by their triangular shapes position on the mini map as they closed in.
Next time you racer lights, go around, jj over to the side or watch our big guys back. Just a friendly warning ;)

Im not much better myself as Im a lousy light pilot (yet). I do have panicked myself and running right in front of allied biggies. That was on retreat though. I usually try to go around those mechs who are busy peppering the enemy.

Still, you could retreat, guess how much fun it is if you get rubberbanded ~6 seconds back to the same positions because you collided with a cicada and every time the server sets you back you get collision dmg :o

That was a really fast game

I met a guy in game yesterday who is quite famous on the forums as being intensely pro solo and pro casual here follows is a transcript of the conversation I had with him:

Prosolorager: clubbing baby seals, these idiots should be proud
Me:what?
Prosolorager:you stupid?
Me:I don't get what you are on about?
Prosolorager:there is a point where is taking advantage yes
Prosolorager:but your too stupid to understand that
Me:so, when exactly are unit players allowed to play mwo?
Prosolorager:try group and cw dummy
Prosolorager:coming into solo is no proff your good
Prosolorager:just that you like to club baby seals
Me: so, what if no one in their unit is on?
Prosolorager: <silence>

I do have screenshots of this conversation also. It's people like this why we have a solo queue in a multiplayer team orieneted game in the first place. It's why we have so much whine about CW also. There are surprisingly many people who think like this guy as well, each one failing to see THEY are the cause of their own problems....
