why, why do people, as soon as a medium or light mech peeks around a corner to check for the enemy, feel the irresistible urge to immediately run up and butt hug that mech, causing them to die in a blaze of enemy fire??

Don't you just love it when you are on Conquest in a slow Assault. Team spreads out and points are getting overrun. Slaughered one by one.

I take a peek on the hill and see a point getting overun, theres no rescue for me when i go in with a stunning 53 km/h of getting LRMed to dead.

Then we have this guy on my team complaining, a true tryhard saying that i was hiding in the back. Nobody gave out info that they were getting overrun. Nobody gave out info about the enemy nor movement untill i peeked a little.

Then what would you expect me to do? I ended up about 50 damage, i don't care but this tryhard kept on complaining.

Bad teamwork was the cause of it. PUGgers go PUG.

Got called cheater for one-shotting a Jaeger with a Hunchback 4P with 48dmg alpha. It is obviously cheating, shooting non-moving targets, facing the wrong way, using XL engine, please keep that in mind to avoid getting flamed.

It IS cheating to shoot someone in the back where they have less armor. Everyone knows that and Hunchbacks are OP if you want a real challenge use one of the recently nerfed clan mechs...

If I laser-treat someone's bad case of shotgunface with my hbr-prime (laser vomit config +target MKVII) I also seem to use aimbot. Somehow, I can't play this game legit as it seems

Kid today, gets 80 damage, in a Nova-A then proceeds to tell people what to do, and a couple of the team how bad they suck..

I wish one of them had been me because I only did 800% more damage than he did and picked up a couple of kills..

lost the match and yup

Everyone else did at least twice as much damage as he did

Got lured back by the promise things got better since they started banning cheaters.

Match 1, nearly oneshotted Dual Gauss/PPC, but got lucky and hid in deep cover till they overran our position, but by then our snipers out gaussed them so the match was finally more balanced.
Match 2, Successfully one shotted by Dual gauss/PPC combo in first 2 minutes of game. Time wasted 1-12 roflstomp
Match 3, 8ECM mechs in match, so that was a joke. Nearly one shotted through side torso by Dual Gauss/PPC combo, ecm blown off and deep red internals, couldn't even safely snipe. Said screw it and suicided. 2-12 roflstomp.

Called BS on those who said the game's improved. TTK is still pathetic when any... ANY weapon alpha can kill or cripple healthy mechs in one shot at any time from 600+ meters, through full armor.

I think we found something that needs to be removed from game: alphas of more than 30points or point 1 below. What a waste of 45 minutes. I'm going back to DCUO till PGI announces they're implementing the changes in my sig. I don't care how many cheaters they throw out of here, their game is fundamentally broken and that trumps this nice little PR stunt.

What mech were you in, because my HBK doesn't get one shot by a 30 point alpha from fresh.

I noticed that if you press "Override" you deal more damage to your mech than if you just Alpha'd and overheated.

Everyone got overconfident when 2 died from enemy team right away and then whole team went full potato. We seemed to have had everything in our favor except the teamwork. but i guess Ice Ferret OP jk lol.
