All I can say is that 20 is too much. I run 14 on my lights, tops.

Your problem is that you are trying to outtrade most likely an assault mech who A: has long range weapons B: a pilot that can aim.
Glory days of the invulvernable Raven are over,you need a new I Win-button.

Out trade? Feh! I hang out with the big guys providing ecm, staying with cover and peeking on occasion, take a shot when they're not looking and keep moving. I don't want to be forced to use crutches just to have a game where I am not gunned down in the opening minutes in one or two shots from across the map. The TTK is too bloody short thanks to meta loadouts and that is because you have perfect convergence. Eliminate that by cone of fire, problem is solved for TTK and the pinpoint meta, plus LRMs become functional again for EVERY weapon acts like LRMs, SRMs and LBx weapons.

But they won't because they're trying to please the esport freaks. So I have a few choices left. 1. quit/uninstall/move on (hopefully to a new non esport FPS or PvE version of MWO, 2. hope they pull their heads out and fix this.
Right now I'm at stage 2, but I'm not playing till I see changes.

First 5 matches of this event I spent in my ENF-5D® in the solo queue.

4 were complete victories/stomps, with 12 PuGs using comms, and playing and acting like a group, and the 5th was a close loss.

2 members of my unit jump on, and we group up to hit the group queue. Completely opposite experience. All of a sudden it's 12 people who are presumably grouped with at least 1 other person in the match, all playing like it's the solo queue and we aren't allowed to talk to each other on pain of listening to a Jonas Brothers album. Got totally stomped every time, while 3-5 little "mini-groups" tried to do their own things in-spite of each other.

I almost would have rather listened to the album.

Last night was a disaster. Why can't I do ok in the Shadowhawk 5M? My 2D has an almost identical setup (+1 ML) and I do much much better in it. Is it..cursed?

Needless to say, we lost.

Ditto. I have given quit even thinking an over-ride exists on the 'Mechs now. Between the time a drop starts and ends, I usually end up using all of my ammunition so little to no chance of an ammunition explosion, my energy weapons either get taken out or I die because a few drongos pepper me with LRMs, Other than that, if I do shut down because of excess heat, then half the time my 'Mech explodes from too much heat build-up, during its powered down phase, so I find the whole rather useless to have. I rather use what weapons/ammunition and armour and go all in and help the team than mucking about with shutdown procedures and over-rides when I know it will just kill me 95% of the time anyway, even if I am standing waist-deep in a lake and doing nothing but yelling at the 'Mech to hurry up and dissipate the heat faster so I can get back into the fray.

I seriously think some assaults do that on purpose -- had it happen to me in my Raven 3L a short while ago -- nice thing is once WHK lost his ECM he got LURMd to death.

So after the above experience, my unit-mates log-off in disappointment and disgust, and I return to the solo queue.

Yep, you guessed it. All of a sudden I was right back in awesome communication and teamwork land, racking up the wins again.

Nothing works, nothing. I'm 11 kills down in 14 matches, not a single kill and 3 wins total. A lot of unknown names that suck. I must have been bumped down to the steering wheels.

about 2.15 my time I get

sent all the info asked for, though not in the format asked for (note pad not a snap shot)

Not found any reports here of a similar issue

Every other game works fine so its not hardware to my knowledge, and the ironic thing is i'll have to cancel my pack by the 1st if its not working or i'll have been sent content I can't use.
