well, the pug queue is really really bad tonight too

seems like people are incredibly desperate for that 30 match score that they don't care who they are shooting through to get the emeny

3 drops in a row I've had a ST blown off from friendly fire in the first 2 minutes of the match, and then finally killed by the enemy because "friendly" lights decide to butt hug me while trying to shoot through me

Somebody needs to inform these guys that 30 is a rather low match score. It is basically show up and shoot a few things, collect your prize.

Case in point, just had a terrible round on Alpine. Standoff for 12 minutes, then my team rushed in to be eaten alive. I had 140 odd damage and 3 assists. Match score: 31. At least I got 87,500 cbills from the cool off prize

Further whine, the aforementioned round has become my new typical, someone save

yep i have a CN9AL complete with parasol for leisurely strolling around the edge of the map. launch some lrms, tag a target or 2, poke with the erll and then zombie the 2ml. easy 30 points. even with a total hide behind the rocks and wait for them to hunt you down team it works. just keep that left arm out in front...

well except for that duel gauss to the head bit, but that can happen to anyone.

ones that get me are the ones we're up 9-6 or so and i feel i can relax a bit and just worry about hunting down this one mech that i saw was damaged earlier because we should be fine. it finally dies and i look up and it's 10-11 with a barely scratched twolf or dire vs my armless medium/light.

did run across my personal stop sign yesterday. the sad thing is that he was SO close to being helpful that made it even worse. torumaline fight shockingly not at F6 and a running engagement around the ridges by the once and future theta. ecm hellbringer and i go after the twolf that was hitting us from behind. i have him all lined up waiting for the cooldown and suddenly there's hellbringer betwen us. lose the shot at the weak RT and have to take the shot at CT before he runs off. but hey np. still got ecm and there's a damaged directly across the little crevace that is exactly one mech wide happily destroying the rear armor of an assault ok here we...dammit hellbringer get out of the way, he shoots and light runs off.

but hey he's still moving and there's another..wait hellbringer don;t stand directly dead center in the crevace, i cn;t get by to shoot. he finally moves far enough away after i take a futile potshot due to the hunchies' hunch reaching beyond the stealth pixel walls and scratch an arm instead of getting a dead on shot. finally move out past him and start going after a damaged weak CT crow to finish it off, all lined up and NOOOOOOOOOO! there he is again making sure his arm blocks my hunch nicely as he shoots at something else. crow runs off.

later i keep getting hit from behind as i'm with the remainder of the team, turn around can't really see anything. i die eventually despite twisting like crazy and hoping one of the mechs actually facing that way would shoot to give me an idea of what's taking me apart. start spectating and what's did this to me? the light that got away and the red CT crow that i was going to finish off. we still won but i did kinda want to take off the hellbringer's arm and hit him in the head with it a few times.

I suppose I earned it, I had a really good series of games a couple weeks ago

And when you see a name you recognize on the other team, you have a miserable performance. <100 damage zero assists...

while the rest of the team has to walk through lrm rain or completely without ECm cover. because selfish failplay is best.

Could it be that they/we are decently close in elo and that we are the only ones in that bracket everybody else is above/below but still matched? Just a theory.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one, thought it was my own ISP/connection. I'm in Helsinki and typically have 130 ms ping, but now get these spikes of 200-400 ms. Killed me a couple times as I teleported in the middle of enemy.

This has been going on for a couple days now.

Fantastic looking mech. Great hardpoint variety. Great tonnage for loadouts.

But...

Something just feels off to me when I pilot it..I don't know what, I don't know why...hopefully it will remedy itself when I get them mastered....

So I decided it's time to work on the conquest section of the challenge, and apparently, I forgot that people don't play for the objectives. I lead my lance of my COM-2D, a Raven-3L, CDA-3C, and we were capping points as fast as possible. In the mean time, our team decided that force feeding themselves 1 by 1 to the enemy team was the right move to do. So they all drop dead, and then proceed to yell at us for trying to cap, and not killing people. The match ended 713 to 750.
