Was that you that shot me in both legs on Crimson Straight, twice, just as we got a block from the spawn? I turned my Dire Wolf right at a Hunchback as it followed me into a side street and fought down the desperate urge to just alpha it repeatedly.

lol,no. I don't randomly fire weapons. All this happened on Forest Colony.

He was fast enough to circle of death me....I literally had no way of avoiding his guns......though to be fair I nearly got him but still.
Those things are too fast.
Makes me appreciate my jenners more:) Fight would have been much different.....
Trouble with clan lights I'm finding is they are too reliant on bigger team mates-they don't pull muster you are going to struggle.
One of my jenners runs twin PPC, it can fire more often, has smaller profile, has back up weapons and has JJ capability. Outshines my Adder prime in every respect:(

For what it's worth, NARC has become far more prevalent in matches since the patch. And unless a teammate calls it out, you aren't likely to realize you've been nailed.

QFT!
I was sooooo pizzed last night as the first match after buying and equipping Radar Deprivation module i was missiled down in inglorious fashion on Frozen City Night as I scrambled to find a building, any building able to protect me from the absolute hell-fire that rained down on me after i had the audacity to snipe a Raven toting Narc.

I think people don't understand what kill stealing is. Helping a team mate take own another mech and getting the kill is not kill stealing.
Jumping and/or stopping directly in front of your team mate blocking his shots and killing the enemy IS kill stealing.

well there's always the drive by. i've gotten a few kills running over to help someone 1v1 or 2 v 2. i fire one alpha at the enemy mech and it dies. i kinda feel bad about it afterwards unless a savior bonus pops up, then i figure he won;t be too upset i got the kill

I love it when people help -- it keeps my little medium from being blown apart. There is a huge difference between the two, and it's usually very obvious when it happens.

I had the sheer nerve last night to step out of cover to actually shoot at something. Imagine that! The nerve of that Kamiko actually trying to attack an enemy mech.
The next 30 seconds plus of constant lrms (I'm not kidding here) put paid to that notion.
"Find cover noob" they say. "You need to leave it sometimes to play" I say......

came back in the morning. got some sleep. loged in. 20 minutes premium time left. such fun.
the mechbay idea was nice. tho giving away activated premium time is not.
ps: i got mine fatlases from sale. slightly used but requiring only replacement of a windshield and cleaning blood and body parts from the cockpit and im ready to go.

Oh the LOLZ!
Indeed:)
Though I got a couple of games tonight where I got to brawl. VERY enjoyable games, my C1 Catapault feels great when waist deep in mech parts and chaos:)
Today's whine:
Just because you are a poptart assault does not mean that's ALL you should do. It is a valid tactic when you have adequete up front enemy stalling mechs. However when the situation requires you to push, and the rest of your assaults are all sat at the back (literally they were....) you really do need to behave like an assault and....ASSAULT!
A guy earlier's response to that was "just look at my damage."
Trouble is, all his fodder was dead. He ran out of mediums and my C1 to stall the enemy assaults for him. We still lost. Maybe just maybe if our assaults (Warhawk, DDc and Victor I remember) had been a bit nearer the front the REST of the team might have been free to fulfill their maximum damage output.
As it was I found out the Catapault can tank nicely.....
Maxim? To poptart you need mechs to slow the enemy down for you. Mediums and heavies really are not optimal for this. If you are a poptart assault you may be needed to switch up your approach for success. You cannot stick at the one tactic. Recognise when you are needed to wade in, because the smaller mechs do NEED you.

In my Adder in upper city, sniping with CERPPC's
have two teammates up there with me, both in timberwolves
suddenly, I lose my left torso, I turn and standing behind me is an enemy timberwolf, being fired upon by one of my teammate timberwolves....
however...
he never actually targeted the enemy, thus allowing the enemy to walk up behind me undetected by me, but right in front of my teammate
a simple press of R would have allowed me to live, or at least fight back...but apparently his attempt to kill was more important that teamwork
(and I know, I should have been more aware, but never would I have expected an enemy to be able to walk past not one, but two teammates without eother pressing R or giving some kind of warning)

Been playing with the kitfox with the c arm. (triple ams and ecm) along with tag and narc. most games there are no missile boats on ether team. so i go back to my cplt and there is no one that knows what an R key is let alone a tag. at least with the cplt i can self spot and do some damage but with a kitfox and 1 erml and 2 mg well lets just say it is not the most effective ligh mech out there.
although i have one really good game with 3 lrm mechs on my side that went really well, tagged/narc a timberwolf, a dire wolf and an atlas to death. but then the tide turned and once again my little kitfox spotter was proven to be a very ineffective brawler.
