I agree. We need more Survivor's Guilt in here and less Shadenfreude.

When your pug manages to form a relatively solid firing line, holding good position and bottling the enemy company ( since pugs only move in clumps) and suddenly an enemy contact appears of the far wing of your line...

Slowly watching your line disintegrate as everyone is hellbent on getting a kill, ( spraying lasers, missiles and AC rounds into enemy and friend alike in the hopes of tagging it before it dies) only to have the entire enemy team roll up and wipe your team out while they indulge in their blood frenzy.

Hot map after hot map after hot map tonight and teammates that don't seem to understand that you actually have to go and shoot the enemy not wait for them to shoot you.

Just spent the whole night and every game getting rained on by LRM's as i was one of the only mechs that knows you actually have to break cover to shoot. Stuck with teams that seem to have next to no situational awareness all huddle together like sheep then get torn to shreds. It was enough to make me quit the game.

PGI fix those bloody LRM's they're absolutely killing this game for me. I'm lucky if i get to use my brawlers any more as its all about assault mechs Direwhales and as much ECM and LRM a team can carry.

For the first time in over 2100 games and two years of playing i forced closed the game as i was sick of my team being torn to shreds every consecutive match.

Then i get this in a basic'd mech:

almost anytime i have a match with someone i recognize from the boards here i have my worst matches of the day <waves at CN9>

also if i come off a 3+ kill match with 300+ damage my next match is almost always 0 kills under 100 dmg

Because of the lance challenge, people are tending to drop in lances and are not tending to boat one kind of mech. This had led to group queue gameplay to be rather more balanced, so much so I'd say past few days have been the most enjoyable group queue play I have ever had.
I'm simply LOVING it right now.
My whine? After the challenge it'll go back to stomptown facing much larger teams than us and facing off against comp teams:(
