25,000 C-Bills for a win 20,000 for a loss. IMO the difference should be much greater.

I think the point in that is that since a win or a loss is more often out of your control, what you do in the game should have a greater effect on your earnings.

That being said I wish they would adjust Match-maker to also realize that a win or a loss is mostly out of your control.

Top three players on losing team rewarded as if they had won=more activity.

I noticed last night that my win column is greater than my loss column. Which means...start the losing streak :( I had two of the dumbest rounds ever this morning (which is frustrating when you only have time for 2 rounds).

I'm not entirely sure how the MM works, except I've heard people say it tries to balance skill levels and keep W/L near 1, but a lot of people were complaining about it in the last challenge. Seems like something similar to the way Mass Effect 3 did their multiplayer might help. ME3 had 3 levels of play: bronze, silver and gold, IIRC, and you got to choose when searching for a match which level to join: bronze with the noobies and casual players, silver with the good but not die-hard players, or gold with the pros. Implementing a similar system would likely take a major overhaul of MM, but might also keep experienced players from getting frustrated over noob tactics (or lack thereof), and noobies from getting frustrated at dropping with the pros. Of course, joining a TS team and dropping in larger coordinated groups also helps avoid getting stuck with a team that doesn't live up to your expectations.

I don't know how match maker works either, but I know I tend to either have winning streaks or losing streaks...so I take credit for getting the wins and blame the mm for the losses like any sane person would :)

Really growing mad-azz tired of people playing with a light not doing their role: scouting and report.
Most of the time i know were puggies are going: always the centre of the map.

But i need lights to provide movement, not shutting up to the whole team and then complain about teamwork.

Shows really in what state the current game is regarding modules, balance and preciously said: Rolewarfare.

I can dream though..

In a CW match...
9 out of 12 players failed to get more than 500 damage across 4 mechs.

1 player managed to get above 1200 (me)
and
2 players managed below 100 damage (across 4 mechs)

What the hell! If you are going to try CW at least TRY.

The "Reward 4 Carry" theory. I kinda like that. (Pay 2 Win involves real money IMHO)

Aye it might work..it might incentivize peeps a bit to try harder and camp less. I've seen it work on WoT during specials. Plus you'd feel less sore if you lose due to a team full of sheep if the game at least recognizes your efforts:)

Today's whine:
I'm glad I left Kurita. I shouldn't be as I've been Kuritan from day one but after a few posts from Kuritan groups on this forum and being abused by a few of them in game....I'm glad I'm not associated with them anymore. there is a thing called "banter" and then there is being ignorant and arrogant.
Good riddance :(

Gorgo7., is there some kind of Liao central TS? My contract is up shortly and if people are needed I'd happily sign on and fight some Davions!
Though I'd be pugging I'd happily take orders off of someone.

TS3 server.

I don't think you can defend Liao worlds without being part of the faction. You'll need to take a contract with Liao to help. Also, You're gonna be helping with the effort to retake Capella now, not defend it. Good luck to both of you.

EDIT: Also, does anyone know the St. Ives teamspeak server address? Or has that been taken down completely?

Thanks matey-I'd have to gag myself though:)
I think when I read the bragging and trashtalking on that thread I mentioned, I thought time to go. Yours isn't the first offer I've had either-I'm surprised as I thought considering how outspoken I am I'd not be well liked.
I do need to curb my mouth though-desperately.

There are several groups like this -- most consider themselves 'elite' and sadly are the people that PGI is listening to for design decisions.

Dude, if you heard me without "Push to Talk" your ear hair would curl. I do work with truckers.

Besides, our current Euro guys want more friends to kick butt.

I always wonder why there are so many "Spider is broken"- or "Firestarter is broken"-threads, but no one for the Cent.

Cent' is not really broken. i remember when they had no center torso, then they got 'nerf'd' and die now.

Cent Certainly isn't broken i'm dying more in mine lately than i ever used to. Last night i think i died from XL death twice fairly quickly annoyingly. But my YLW with its rapid torso twist speed quirk rarely suffers from XL death as does my CN9-D with XL 340 or at least it shouldn't but that was the last centurion i was piloting when i got dropped prematurely.
