well in my case (i'm assuming you're talking about being on the attacking team ) if i have a low damage score it's usually because i'm focused on trying to get to the generators/omega and shoot them instead of being delayed by fighting the enemy mechs (and giving them their advance to omega- do not run back, do not collect 200 credits card by killing someone fighting at the gates while some friendly is about to reach omega)

if this happened while defending then...i got nuthin

aw man... should have gotten this battle on video.... =(
my trusty little treb with 2 ppc and a ac5, XL210 smacked 3 assaults nearly on its own lol.
few hits on a raven, few hits on a vindicator, rest went into a warhawk, stalker and banshee.
killed all 3 assaults, 930 damage in that thing that is considered a pile of ****.
just wandered around, shot the warhawks face away until he decided to not do a direct fire duel with me (and he had 4 ppc LOL) good for me, i shot his ass away
could shoot the stalker weaponless before he did any harm to me but he teamed up with a ac20/large laser banshee to trap me close quartered to make my ppc useless.

didnt work good enuff one ppc killed the stalker, next killed the banshee
god i love these battles.

Windows 8 is denying me access to the folder that my screen shots are saved in I had a nice round in my anansi and now I can't brag about it

If you're the owner of the folder, you should be able to right-click on it and give yourself read/write permissions (under the security tab). If you're not the owner, but you are an administrator on your machine, you should be able to take ownership (under the security, advanced tab) then assign yourself permissions. At least that's the way it works in Windows 7. Windows 8 is all mucked up, so I don't know if it works the same.

This whine is no else then myself to blame.

Hopped in my best Atlas, from the Founders program. I always feel special in that thing due their special look on their face.

Anyway tried to get in brawling range on Canyon Network. Though i got myself covered from LRM fire. Noted i don't because i got nuked the hell out of it. Atleast 40% and a few ballistic fire got my left Arm till i got facing a Crab. No chance in getting away.

Tried my best, but this does not happen to me alot. Only made like what, 150 damage.

Why is it that some people can't believe that they will have a bad game. I had one person yelling about new players not able to play the game--costing him wins. People who have been in this game for years have bad days. You cans control the other 23 players on the field. Hell, victory is almost random for anything less than 8 man groups.

I am satisfied if I am in the top 4.

At least then I know I did my part and the result of anything good, I can tell myself I helped achieve. On the other hand I will deny, for my ego's sake the converse is true

i don't like it when people complain about new players in a MMO that needs new players. also i knew americans were fat and lazy, but i had no idea they were also cowardly. guess i need to watch more euro TV.

so back at Christmas time if you bought mc with kk or some such you got the HBK mastery pack. looked like a pretty good deal so i bought. well just got around to messing with the HBKs and maybe it is just me and i suck with them... ok it is just me as i see ppl playing very well with them. oh well keep playing them and ether get better or i will die alot...

so if you see me in a HBK yes i am that bad in them

i guess i fit the new player/old player whine except i am way too much of a berserker to just hide. you know charge and close to bayonet range and all that

now if only HBKs had bayonets....

just noticed PGI extended the like a champion challenge though this weekend. almost half way there, soooo parking the HBKs and back into something i can almost pilot well enough to finish this....

my attempts at heavies/assaults range from bad to worse. i think the jager is about the only one of them i do decent with. then i pop into my cent AH for one match and get 2 kills and 800 dmg- or the combined total of my atlas and tbolts over the course of the day.

i know my biggest mistake in the bigger mechs- i try to advance...

need to work on being more cowardly. maybe adding some lrms might help me with that?
