So annoyed with the patcher. The game has clearly a life on it's own, were it worked fine before it manages to corrupt itself several times.

I mean really? I just repaired the bloody thing yesterday.

It sucks. The repairtool just fixed some Shader packages. All error fixed.

I want to start the game again and then its suddenly saying it's missing the PAK files.

I have now to repair the bloody thing twice! One of the poorest patchers ever made. I am gobsmacked. I never had these problems befofore the hotfix.

i have no idea how old your system is but maybe you should format it?
i mean it could be a virus on your pc or just messed up HD during all the times.

I am positive it's the horrible patcher. I had no single problems a few patches (including the hotfix patch) back.I have no virus or trojan on the computer. SSD health is fine.

i7 2700 K, GTX460 x2, and 8 GB of HyperX ram.

I am not the only one about this, several others have the same problems as well.

maybe its a driver/video card thing? but i dont have much knowledge abotu that stuff, just the basics :S

Had problems myself with the patcher a couple of months ago. Was getting FRead errors on some of the maps (or something like that). First time the repair tool worked on the first try. The second time, I had to run it twice.

I spent most of my time with Alienized chasing him in my summoner hoping to actually shoot anything before it runs off:) Watching a turbo charged ragemonkey ripping into the enemy team like a Jolt fuelled mini buzzsaw.


Kjudoon, I have to vehemently disagree with you on the clan stuff mate. I play both sets of tech and I consider my clan stuff to be worse, it only has better damage output for half the time you can fire-after that it shuts down due to the INSANE heat scaling.
E.G I ran into a quad large pulse Thunderbolt in one CW match, he alpha'd multiple times without overheating. Multiple near PP 43 pt alphas. My summoner was using the CRAZY INSANE overloaded weapon loadout of....1 ppc and 2 med pusle lasers. I know what you are thinking, Kamiko is a fruitbar, a crazed nutter mounting ALL THOSE WEAPONS on one mech. My 3 measley weapons overheated my mech after he has fired twice......he however just carried on pushing out alphas......now consider clan tech is SUPPOSED to be better than IS tech...he could do more damage, faster and for longer....
My best mech I've had in game is a TDR build formulated by a mate of mine, Harkonblood. I can vomit 5 med lasers and one ppc constantly without overheat issues for a simply, disgusting length of time. NONE of my clan mechs can do that. Not one, no matter how ,any heatsinks I fit.
If you play the ranged game with the clans, you will lose. Get in close and brawl em and my lord, you can give them a miserable time of it.

and yeah, clan mechs run insanely hot... to the point that they HAVE to fight at range because brawling with them is a death sentence

Can you turn the automatic over-ride shutdown off. Its crap ive actually died more from overheating since the change than from actually shutting down while being shot. Reason for the whine. This
I was on course for 8 kills when suddenly my mech explodes from overheating whereas previously it would of shut down.
