Ever since the patch, my mechs are getting stuck on EVERYTHING, things they never use to get stuck on. Formerly fast mechs seem sluggish, like they're running in loose sand..
something seems very very off ever since tuesday...

2) Teammates that stand there and watch you get shredded by one (or more) guy(s), well within range to do something about it, and instead turn around and run
3) being the slowest mech, and watching the map as you make it to where you think you're supposed to be...first...from the back....while your teammates do circles at the spawn
4) heavies and assaults afraid to face down ravens and other lights who have the balls to face down said heavies and assaults. There's a difference between face staring, spreading the damage, and just plain turning around to "run"
5) dying, leaving the match, getting another mech, waiting to get a match, ending up with the same people you played last match.

Yeah, in my aforementioned Is Cw drop I was taking my ecm cata to support Willbaron. I was about 50m in trail when I suddenly ground to a halt and could not move....a small rock barely the height of my foot stopped my entire mech.....

Maths and the people that use it to put their point across as to how op clan weapons are.
FACT IS: clan weapons spread more due to longer duration, they are also hotter-especially with ghost heat. One idiot quoted me and attacked me i a thread comparing IS and clan medium lasers. He waffled on about range and heat and it has 40% more damage!
Which is useless if that damage does not go exactly where it is meant to, why? Because the clanner can't fire as often....the Is guy might do 30 damage with his salvo compared to the 42 of the clanner but the clanner loses 22 of his damage due to burn time, the Is guy might lose10 both at even stevens right? Wrong!
The clanner can do that twice, the Is guy can do that 5 times.....both have CT of 50 guess who wins.......this guy refused to see that.
All I see are cretins raging "clanz r opzzz-nerf nao pl0x."
GRRRRR!

Most IIC mechs have awful, and I mean AWFUL with a capital awful, hitboxes. So they won't really change much. The HBK IIC looks like fun, but it's losing those STs the second they are seen from orbit. The HGN will be fun though. Orion, not so much, I think it might actually have worse hitboxes than the standard Orion. The Jenner IIC is gonna have a mean punch on one variant, but they are all walking CTs. Even if they get identical hitboxes to the IS one (It'll still have a bigger hitbox on account of more missile weapons).
They are shaping up to be the glassiest of glass cannons.

they will die fast yes, but they have clan XL, clan weapons with engine swaps and ferro/endo switch ability. thats best of both worlds.
i like my IS highlander but as of now they wont be played when the IIC are out. just no match for them at any point anymore.

Feel for ya, as I am in the same boat. My 'puter does everything I need it to do very well. But MWO is max 35 fps if nothing is happening. Sigh no money in budget to replace. I keep looking at getting a real video card rather then the onboard shared memory thing that came with the old workhorse. Maybe a bigger monitor some day. Hooked a 21 inch TV to it but 1080 MWO looked great but then something moved and I hit single digit FPS, by single digit I mean 3 or 4 in testing grounds :-((

its as bad as after first launch. no chance against decent teams at all.
too much firepower and it went worse with EBJ arrival under all this ECM.
then the HSR fix..... made most IS mechs even more vulnerable compared to pre-patch.
sorry but CW is dead to me as pure IS player.
the only chance you have is against pug drops and even then its a pain with all that laser/gauss spam (not to think about the ER PPC spammage now).

i feel you... but the price of a semi-decent video card (~100$ or better 140$) isn't far from what you might pay for mech packs; video card it's probably the most what hinders your pc performance
the second narrow place it's the cpu, its brand is bound to your motherboard but it's around 80-100$ (and more) for a quadra core amd one
