I choose to take a positive view of this, and assume that we're having a healthy influx of new players.

Be nice to them, and in a few months we'll still have them around (and blowing us to bits).

i would take a positive view too, remembering their mechs makes made it all crash again.
2 dire wolfs at 54 kph for example.

I saw you in one of those matches brother, you were on the enemy team, a few days ago, and your team was bad. I immediately knew they were bad, because guys lost like 3 people within the first 3 minutes. Then one of them started complaining about you in all chat. Which pretty much told me that you had at least one full lance of idiots.

I kinda remember that, i think i was losing my **** about being 3 or 4 nil down (again) before seeing an enemy mech. 2 or 3 nights ago when i saw sarlic i think i was on a double digit losing streak. One match on the new river city really stood out, light lance charged into the water behind the citadel and got thoroughly whacked - cause, you know, there's no cover on that map at all after the changes ;).

In the end, the problem lies with me - i expect too much teamwork in a team game - i should just shut my mouth really and get a bit greedy

The Atlas and no teamwork *shudders*.

I have been expecting like you as much as teamwork.

Been in plenty of times when i do sub par 200 damage because i want teamwork on frontlines.

I just let the mediums tank for me as now on.

old river city, match started. ALL assaults stayed completely back nearly out of bounds. after 5 minutes, they DIDNT move, i yell from my urbie, if they finaly make a push, or stay back like cowards, while i was on front, firing whole 5 mins.

After 7 minutes, they finaly move, and DW came to me, and TK my urbie. Can you belive that ? because name and shame policy on every forums, his name started with MrSu...

So far worst player i saw there.

What do you expect? This is what you get from the solo Q. This is the behaviour built by it. This is part of why group players aggro solos so much in CW, because they carry this behaviour into a team environment and it's also one of the reason pugs tend to get stomped-the timidity and self centric focus taught in solo Q bleeds through....

People crowed and mewled for a solo Q, reap what ye sew.

Not that I don't feel for you, because examples like that are why I *try* to never solo-it simply is zero fun.

*edit*
My 1st pug game of the day would counter that wouldn't it? I've just been in the single best pug game I have ever played in my 1.5 years of playing.
MULTIPLE people actually talked, useful coordinated talk. 3 of us acted like an actual lance. Teamwork was liberally used, we utterly crushed the other team because of it.
The assaults did their job, the mediums did theirs and our light s even did theirs.
I know I'm gushing like a teenager at a twilight autograph session-but it was THAT amazing.

*swoons*

A DWF can't go above 53.5 Kph with speed tweak. That's their top speed, so not sure what's the noobish part there. Was it the builds? Or are you thinking of a different mech?

no. the thing is that a dire wolf costs ALOT of fkin c-bills and the fact that it had speed tweak means that they played ALOT already and should have done alot more out of it. 60 damage is one fkin volley and i seen where they been. not beating 100 damage at any point with a DWF is just ..... unbelievable.
if they bought them with real money then i would consider them to be alot worse than just noobs.

There are names that should be in the very creative player names thread, but I can't remember what they are.

There is a guy in my area with a septic truck/portapotties his slogan is: "Number 1 in the number 2 business." Another guy's is "A royal flush beats a full house." (I think the business name is royal flush) Just some marketing ideas for you ;)

Logged in just now, I thought one CW match before bed. Ceasefire. Bugger I thought I could do a couple of pug matches.....then the thought of the solo q filled my head and I logged off to do some dishwashing instead.
Honestly I'll have more fun.

Tomorrow? Probably back to SWTOR with my GF, her bro and mother. We formed our own guild on a us server and are having a blast. Much more fun that team solomatch. Guess what game gets my money now? It ain't MWO:)
Shame I have 64 days of premium time ticking away...pointless though what do I need the money for? More mechs means more solo q.....

See, I gotta disagree with your dislike of solo queues Kross. The thing about the solos is they have no real meaning or value. I approach them in a very casual way because of this. Rack up c-bills and exp, test new builds and play styles, scout out new talent for your unit, experiment with different routes on the maps, or practicing getting really good at torso twisting or firing on specific parts of enemy Mechs. Yeah you can work together with the other PUGs ftw, but losing hell even getting stomped alongside a team of brain deads costs you nothing and has no tangible negative effect to your gameplay. In other words, you're stomping around in a giant avatar of destruction, you should be able to make your own fun. Which is probably why I don't have any clean dishes left in my apartment.

Trying to play aggressive brawler in my fang. Everyones too busy hiding then suddenly appearing as you've made a few holes. ****** has killed ***** . ****.

Also the dragon is hopeless now that battleship on its right shoulder practicaly falls off for fun now. You have a choice protect your nose or your right arm. Logically you have to protect that nose so that means sacrificing your ballistic arm. Genius. Theyve turned a ballistic mech into an enery weapon in left arm and shoulder mech.

You and I like different things matey I think. I'm used to cooperative gameplay across ALL online games I play. I really detest the hiding and cowering we have here in solo, I'm not keen on the selfish play to be honest. I lie that team, social feel y'know?
I'm much happier hearing voices in my headset than silence, I mean I take an hour or so but after that? I get bored of it. I guess people like me aren't made for team solomatch-shame cos' tis people like me that tend to spend much in game I get invested in.
I'm giving it one last go-gonna try and join a larger clan unit with my clan account and see how that goes. Because judging by forum whines the casuals just want more and more solo only stuff-which ain't my thing for an online game. I mean I played a flashpoint in SWTOR the other night-there was more speaking and tactic discussion and banter in that one hour FP than in my last 50 pug matches....and that is a very poor and sad reflection on our players.
Most anti social playerbase I have EVER seen has MWO.

Just played 6 games, 6 crushing defeats. Top damage of my team in 4 of those games. Means nothing though-I get nothing for it, my effort and play wasted each time. This is why it's no fun.
