Standing still in my Huginn, looking at the battle grid right after drop... plenty of room for a dropship to drive around me.

WHAMO! one of my own team, a Timberwolf walks into me at full speed.... armor on my leg, OJ.

I sigh, and go back to the battlegrid, knowing that I have to be aware of the leg now.

Then....

WHAMMO! An atlas does the same thing to me and POOF! no leg armor. Apparently dropping down that 2 meters from the rock i was standing beside gives assaults super speed for an instant or something.

Yeah, one more week of that. I suspect it's also exacerbated by some high-ping play. My locusts have usually started games with a weak leg lately.

Wait, you were looking at the battlegrid? You don't have to do that. Just run in a counterclockwise direction until your team is dead or the enemy is

ihade something like that this afternoon in a Jenner. Tried to run straight ahead the second the drop started and rubber banded backwards and forward on the spot taking damage to my legs. I stopped and looked around, nothing there, tried to move off again, rubber banded again, critted a leg. I look around again and the hunchy who dropped to my right who hasn't moved yet turns to face me and the pilot types "why do you keep running into me?"

Whine 1: My total lack of skill in heavy mechs has my standards so low that I am reveling in the glory of a 1 assist 130 damage round because I successfully brawled a victor in my Cataphract.

Whine 2: Somebody snuck a shot in on the victor and got the killing blow while my weapons were in cooldown stealing the solo kill... I still got the kill most damage though

most people have no clue how to play a victor. what loadout did he have?
i succesfully brawl king crabs, dires, timbers, whatever it is in a victor because its so fkin good in it.
problem is: most want to make something out of it where it sucks.

stop beeing a negative douche. this game is far better at this point than it ever was.
new balance patch is gonna roll out with many other changes. maps improve massively.
playerbase tho gets worse and worse.

It doesn't matter. This game could be the absolute best game of all time hands down and it STILL wont wipe away their track record. No one remembers you for all the good you do. You will always be remembered for the people you wronged. 2013 will always linger on in our heats and will never fade away

I think it was running some UAC's. Some kind of ballistic that fired quickly at least. . . but anyway, he wasn't very good or he would have gotten me because I am lousy in anything moving less than 90 kph.

On a related note, 4 ml/AC20/Big Standard Engine is the best loadout I have found for the ECM Cataphract. I tried ranged builds on that and found myself brawling with PPC's and AC 5's. . . cuz I am that good (eg. sarcastic smiley face)

Whenever I have a good run I always fall 1 short for that 8 kill achievement. This time around I just plugged in a gauss and 2 LL on my Orion VA (didn't even match the quirks) and got another 7 kill game after a very long time. I hope the MM shows some mercy on me again someday so I get another crack at it.
