The cowardice. The yellow bellies the show and shiners that don't want to scratch their paint. I'm so bored of sitting still for five minutes trying to wait out the other team. I inevitably get bored start a push with a couple of other blues next to me but as soon as i engage the enemy I'm focused down in seconds to look at the mini map and find our team has vanished.

then said in open chat pretty much the same lol

guess who had most dmg... :>
me and my lovely victor <3
and then we had a maddog with 2lpl in team living the longest with nothing but 2 lpl...i called him out (obviously )

I like having top MS and Kills and Assists and DMG, but Not when i am just levelling some ASN and we lost. Someone decent Mechs in the team, even some "meta" builds.

Worst matches in a while last night.

So, I'm still operating under the assumption that the skills tree is coming and we'll have node costs and numbers the same as on the PTS. So that means I need to get every mech I own (or intend to keep) to 15,500 XP over mastery. I have most of my collection there, except a few (as well as most of the 35 ton lights...bye! and some others that I just don't play) and last night it was the Catapult-C1's (with 2ALRM15s and 4ML Nod to TT. Its the only Cat I run with Lrms) turn to over level.

It was awful.

2 matches we got Crimson and the enemy went under and stayed there both times. 1 on Mining and we had a split team that the enemy took full advantage of and nascard our left flank and then dove on the rest of us with 3 Kodiaks and 2 Battlemasters. It was brutal. Got a suspiciously similar spread on Grim and I was expecting to have a good match (I did okay) but when the Kodiaks charged into us so many panicked and couldn't/didn't focus that it was over before it began. Got a couple of OK matches on frozen -thankfully. Eight matchs, two wins, and I think I got five loot bags at least, but man...ouch.

Trying to complete the event. It's almost impssible to get escort. Domination-Polar, Domination-Polar, Domination-Polar...

I know that it's not the most popular game mode but I'm operating under the assumtion that others want their free stuff as well. Still it shows in maybe every 4th match and then no one will vote for it so I might get 1 escort per 12 matches played.

In the end I was so frustrated that I started to use my team as meatshields, caring only about my personal k/d in those non escort matches.

I let a Marauder tank a Dakka Bear for me, when he fell I stepped forward and popped him with my Yen-Lo Wang. I should feel bad, but I don't.

I did have this match in my Victor on the same night though. I took out the locust with a single alpha, the huntsman the hellbringer the mad iic the raven (that bit was fun was the last kill and had run out of ammo and tried to leg him to death with two mediums). Also one of the mads I think the artic cheetah.

I had the same 'fell bad but don't" moment yesterday too. in the mining collective, was sweeping around to flank when it popped up briefly on my scanners, 6LRM5 catapult. so naturally the assassin in me immediately snuck around to ninja him. find him, inside of 200m. he dumb fired lrms at me, I started shooting, he twisted for a few seconds then suddenly just presented his rear armor to me and just stood there waiting. so naturally I blew him up despite the best efforts of the would be KSing LRMer on our side.

I kinda felt bad that the guy just abandoned all hope like that. then I remembered he was packing 6 LRMs and nothing else.

Very long wait times and when a game does load it is usually the same names. (nothing wrong with that, but that is generally not a good sign.)

So, bought my Black Widow out again today: in 15 battles I scored 23 kills to 9 deaths, 2.56 K/D and 1.53 K/B with 574 damage/battle.

What did I get that for performance? 7 wins to 8 losses.

Just ugh, the matchmaker really hates me this month.


EDIT: goddamnit, up to 1.77 Kills/Death, 1.08 Kills/Battle and 301 average match score this month, still only 1.10 W/L.
I should be hitting at least 1.30 W/L with that performance.

"Group"? What do you mean, "Group"?

If you mean faction, it's not a Ghost Bear Mech. It's Clan Nova Cat, which is also known as "Star Commander not appearing in this game".

lawl. 6 losses in 6 games.
just had a match on crimson strait.
was in victor went tunnel.
seen ac20 kingcrab, spirit bear, shadow hawk and some other things coming at me (i was alone)
so i fight. manage to get 240dmg on 2 KMDD's. my team had so much time to actually get to me and support since they been ON THE OUTSIDE of tunnel. including a atlas BRAWLER.
and not one helped. even tho i died first i still managed to get top 5 dmg. think about that.

MWO community in a nutshell and why this game cant be as good as it could be.

Blame the matchmaker......................... Or rather the total lack of one.

If you do believe there is a matchmaker and your getting nice even balanced games and several wins then you must be playing a different game to me.

It's not as good as a Stormcrow when it comes to durability, and it harshly penalizes incorrect decisions like most mediums. But as it stands, it is a phenomenal fire support and skirmishing unit, even in a one versus one against the stereotypical KDK-3, provided you have the skill.

In summary, it's as fragile as the other Clan 50-tonners in terms of overall durability, but it can shield well, and is downright mean in the right hands. A great SRM boat skirmisher that requires good positioning and patience to use.
