Not much to say. There are about 10+ posts out there started by a few people hating on lrms, with the vast majority of threads within them declaring the people complaining to basically be out of there minds. I think this speaks for itself, the balance comunity is supporting you while a few haters are gonna hate.

You have been doing alot good lately.

Just felt you should know it.

They've also talked about looking into ACs in the Vlog#3....I'm not sure what to think.

But, improvements were made yesterday, and I am happy with those.

PGI have a track record for doing exactly this. You guys just joined PGI on their island when the clear majority of posts are against the LRM buff in one way or another.

lol if you think the majority of posts on those threads are against the lrm buff, you may want to reread, the main posters on these forums are all here for this. the little children coming to the forums for the first time to rage because something killed them are the only ones mainly against it.

Lord knows we don't get along and very rarely ever agree on anything....but, yeah, I agree with you.

LRMs are now as viable as any other weapon system....first good thing they've done in a long time. Not going to bother to go into all the other bile that they've forced on us...we both know that a lot of it is just crap.

Maybe, once I get out of the Derp Elo, we'll meet out there. Doubtful, since I'm obviously a cross-eyed, drooling idiot of a pilot...but, who knows?

I'm here shaking my head in disbelief at your pointed blindness. There's a 37 page thread against the LRM buff, another 13 page one in the patch feedback about lrmageddon, then another in Announcements.

Clearly there are more people against the LRM butf than not. There is no general concensus about everyone liking the LRM buff at all.

If you don't see that then you're just as bad as PGI on that island.

But whatever, like I said who am I to ruin your fun. Enjoy it while it lasts cos you can safely bet PGI will swing it the other way.

I think a lot of the rage comes from people who were used to owning everyone with their poptart PPC/AC boats. Suddenly, missiles become a real threat and they get upset. LRMs get some special hate because they are able to kill targets that can't shoot back at long ranges. This makes them a tactical game changer on the battlefield and some people just refuse to change their tactics. I support the LRM speed increase, it was definitely needed since they were too slow before to hit lights and other fast moving mechs. They may have increased the speed a little bit too much, I wouldn't be upset if it dropped from 170 m/s to 160 or something. Definitely not back to 130 m/s though.

Like Willard I find myself agreeing with Varent. I'd like to thank PGI too - not about balance but for producing a patch which has generated more laughs and tears than any other.

I think its a combination, alot of meta yes and with the meta getting nerfed and then this getting buffed people are upset. Also lrms tend to promote more tactical playstyle as upposed to twitch. So you have alot of twitch gamers raging there heads off right now because they dont know tactics and just have decent aim and quick hands.
