1st world Mechwarrior problems.
FWIW... "average" net profit is around 95,000 c-bills without premium.

If you want a bigger payday do what you didn't do. If you want to have fun and not worry about the pay... keep using what you did. It's MechWarrior not MechBillionaire. Warriors don't get paid well for their risk.

No offense but it's your definition of contribution that is slightly flawed...
Right wrong or indifferent, PGI designed the compensatory rates to encourage "team play". Yes, we could belabor over the fact that that smacks in the face of their recently discussed metrics but it "is what it is".
Your example shows a very good personal contribution with an average team contribution and your payout is thus appropriate.
That said... I am definitely empathetic to your point. Been there... got the t-shirt and the paupers pay check to boot.

EDIT: Forgot to give a shout-out to Salvage Bonuses. Leg (or headshot) mechs that are carrying XL Engines for big payouts.

The assist bonus and Component bonus were added to try to lead a horse to water... But folks still only worry about their kills instead of the teams success. That is also the main point against LRMs... I can't play my game cause I am getting killed... But that's what I am trying to do. Kill you and yours so my team wins.

How you may ask?
Always activated tag laser in the head of my banshee. Tags stuff you shoot anyway, for half of a ton.
Lrm users love shooting tagged targets. Tag assists galore.

Clarity: Does not grasp the premium placed on team-play payout and infers PGI did a ghost-nerf on compensation...

What does that even mean? I had 4 kills (which means i couldn't have gotten assists, and an addition 3 assists. That means I touched 7 of 12 enemies, and did almost 1k damage. How is that NOT team play?!?!

Question: How many Mechs do you need to have fun? I played for 6 months in one Mech. I have 4. I have extra weapons, and ammo, Armor enough for 7 Mechs, Sinks enough for 5. How much stuff do you need to play the game???
