That should give you a hint about how "useless and not wanted" the Urbanmech really is.
If that was really just us, a bunch of guy wanting it. I don't think it would have reach even 10% of the goal.

Dude, either go out, take a break and face the reality. Peoples wanted that mech, and you must admit that you were wrong.

Apparently, people WANT to waste real money on it.
You even see donation organised, almost like it happened during the Sarah Jenner event. (Too bad the gift store wasn't here. It would have been nice and probably gained more funds to the organisation. #neverforgetyousarah )

People want a "joke" mech, joke mech who was already in PREVIOUS MECHWARRIOR GAMES, and who could be effective in good hands.

Mektek brought both version of the Urbanmech, and heck that mech was useful, especially in Solaris arena.
Why?
Because like in most of the Mechwarrior games -if not all-. You can CUSTOMIZE your mech.

Here, people will customize there Urbanmech, I will use mine has a PPC holder, supporting assault mech. For example.
Another one will make a MG spam with mediums lasers, helping mediums mech.
Etc etc.


You need to understand that, Mech Joke maybe for you. But apparently the people you spoked for disagree.
At the moment, you simply look like theses trolls going on a Clan Mech thread screaming with no argument that they are OP.
And I'm pretty sur you are far from being that stupid. So relax, take a deep breath, just let the things go.
Who know? Maybe you will find yourself with a new point of view after that. You could actually enjoy the Urbanmech if he come out for C-bill. And understand what idea we have of "funs".
Playing underdogs can be pretty nice from time-to-time.

I always disliked the fact that Merc could go in the Clan Side...
It's the open door to clusterfùck. Some Merc unit did a lot of damage... And not in the good way.

Nope - I'm an Inner Sphere loyalist in general, and a Steiner loyalist specifically. The first thing I did when CW rolled out was sign a permanent contract with Steiner. I have never bought a Clan mech and don't plan to. BUT...Good job on getting the Vulture. If I were going to buy a clan mech, that would probably be the one.

This. Clans shouldn't be able to hire mercenaries. It's completely wrong on so many levels.

Urbie would be great in stock play on an urban map. Especially if they give it a JJ quirk. It really needs to be able to get on top of a building easily.

I cannot believe the sudden tension and hate in a thread that has been relatively peaceful for the longest time.
Those of us whom are spending our money on this are doing it in essence to support PGI for listening to us, giving us a mech we wanted. (regardless of its performance)

Most of us with the money to spend, know why we are doing it. And we do not have to justify that to anyone but ourselves. Ever.
