been seeing people complaining in game about needing more ecm mechs. ECM urbie- watch urbie haters heads explode over the dilemna of "urbies are useless" and "ecm is the best".

though actually it would be a good addition to it since, unlike everything but the ddc, there's a 0% chance of the urbie running off and leaving the rest of the team ecm-less.

It's an Urbie, but it has ECM. Is it OP, or UP? It obviously can't be balanced ... Oh dear lord, I think a black hole is starting to form above me. Nope nope nope. Gonna think about other things now.

ECM Urbie would be like Linda Blair... it would unexpectedly reveal itself as a Satanic abomination, spinning its head around and projecting the devil's evil upon everyone around her.

yeah ecm and dual AMS- call it "Lurm'sbane" but you're right, that could break the balance model completely. "yeah i could get a timberwolf with my MC but it doesn;t do anything compared to a hero ecm/dual AMS urbie. they make my LRM boats UP!"

And in your deep paranoia you start wasting all your ammo on the regular trash cans.
