Kept it going? I'm sure this thread is going to keep going for a long time to come with amazing Urbanmech performances and it's glorious strut down the mechbay catwalk.

For anyone who didn't know, the Urbanmech doesn't have a sluggish walk . . . it has a cocky strut, because the Urbanmech knows exactly how badass it is.

For those who sticks true to the urbanmech... Here is some builds I constructed.

UM-R60

UM-R60L

UM-R63

All of these run Standard 60's...

All of these run there stock weapons (R63 has an extra small pulse)...

All of these have additional armour...

All of these keep their Standard heatsinks...

All of them have 3-4 tons of ammo

All of them capable of ripping enemy mechs to shreds.


The reason I kept with the standard 60 is because at the current moment the game has no 65, 70, 75, 80, 95, engines and no XL versions of 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 95. XL 100 is heavier then a Standard 60 (taking total count to 10 heatsinks in)
If you would like to give up a ton of weapons/ jumpjets and get rid of FF armour for an XL 100 or more. then go ahead.

All I did is give you a basic idea on how a Urbanmech can perform.
35.6 kph is your speed tweaked speed and you should be proud of it.

Here is the "Machine gun version" of the Urbanmech. Lore wise it removed 1 (11th) heatsink to add a machine gun and a 0.5 ton of ammo.
This was the mech later on upgraded into the UM-63 as the small pulse laser repalces the area the machine gun was.
here is my version, 2 machine guns in the arm instead of 1 and 1 ton of machine gun ammo.

I've been running my UMR-60 as "Deputy Dawg" in honor of Bishop's drawing.

PPC, Medium laser, and 2 MGs w/ a standard 120 engine. Doing well to.

This mech is a hell of a lot of fun! It might not be the greatest mech, and it might have next to zero chance of dethroning any of the top tier lights . . . but it's worth every penny and has been a blast to pilot so far. I'm really glad I was able to get this mech.
