Lo, for we art a fickle people, easily led astray from The Great and Glorious Urbie by the latest shiny mechs.

Maybe I'll run the two I haven't mastered yet, to grind some of their mastery XP.

Or maybe my unmastered Commie 1B (very possible), or that LCT-3V (maybe not ...), perhaps my LCT- 1V (better odds), or my 4th Mist Lynx (yes, I have a problem, and the only prescirption is more MLX), or ... oh yeah, I have 3 elites Cheetahs that I never bothered to master (nah, these are gonna sit).

To be fair though, the first mech I thought of was the Urbie :)

Praise the Mighty Urbie !
His Agility grant him Immortallity !
As a mech specialized in urban warfare,
it feature a 360° watching capacity,
perfect for looking girls in the streets !
And as we say in French :

"Non mais Allo quoi !
T'es un Technoguerrier
et t'as même pas d'Urbanmech ?!

"WTF !
You're a Mechwarrior,
And u don't even have an Urbie ?!"

I don't play much these days due to life but when I do play I always have a Few game in my Urbie's

Had a Real nice game in my 60L in Group Que the other night. The Map HPG Manifold Domination, I reported in Comm " AC20 with Legs, Fight" Due to the Fact 17 of my 30 Ton was for the AC20 & it Ammo.
Pilot 1 "What are you running a Stock Urbie?!?"
Pilot 2 "Oh ****, he is running Stock!!"

As my Team Run in to get the high ground and swing to the 1st gate to the right that was the enemy. I work my way under the Center. Enemy 3rd Lance take the High ground as are team is tie up with the other at the right gate. I see them on my Seismic module and Report them to the team so they can have some cover from the. A Nova Drop down Right in front of me with is back to me. I Open with the AC20 & Small Laser, by the 2nd shot he was die. None of the other drop down and my Team Finally Turns to attack the ones above me.

By the end of the Match, my UrbanMech is still at 100% and 69 Damage 1kill, 1 Most damage done Kill. The Teamspeak server I was on ask "Did you even make it to the fight your still at 100%" a friend who knows be spoke before I could "They Never see him coming for some reason."

I still have Faith Our Urbie Heros will come some day. One will have flashing lights & a Badge the other will have a 53 decal and have a Blue and red strip.

Clan Urbie: dual AC20.

... and a wheelbarrow. because urbie pilot balls are so heavily chromed and big, you need that mech size wheelbarrow.

*thumbs up*

Urbie.... an unstoppable force of nature. if you think about it the reason theres no Urbie IIC yet is that it would be so gloriously overpowered as to permanently ruin balance. so naturally PGI fearing for its game and player base is reluctant to unleash that special hell on the battlefield.

Urbie!!

No the one I tried to save on my team the other day which seemed to be moving at maybe 5-10km was not a hero and died alone. Didn't even know a mech could go that slow as I ran across half the map as we'd assumed he was afk....

I am curious what armament he had though but he logged as soon as he died. ;)

They can't move slower than 32 because there isn't an engine smaller than 60 they could install. Now if they only hit partial throttle....

I am not a programmer, but the urbie iic should not be that hard to make because they just have to tweak the is model, like for the jenner iic.

Careful, the Deputy Dawg Booster Club is likely to get "grouchy" if you suggest a different name for the hero. (I do get the trashcan joke there, really :D )

I still want my urbie battle armor version of the jager. once the jager loses it's legs or both arms, a fully functional urbie pops out of the CT.

Is there a good guide to small engine use as far as heat sink efficiency goes?

I notice in the Urbie that it almost seems possible to add engine size without gaining weight because of built-in heat sinks.
