You could easily put in 2 RL 20's for a massive one time punch and load up on laser vomit...

I do it with a std180 so i have the max speed and I love it when someone blows off my torso and doesn't even check that i survived, they just assume i was XL...

...and that's when I turn on mah lights-n-siren...

I did that (or a 170 I forget) with the 5ML (did ER ML for a bit too, a little hotter though) and a LMG just because for a little bit, but I like the idea of having the AC2 as a red cape for the other side to aim at while my MLs burn them down. having looked it up I have a light xl145 and get to 78kph or so.

played one match on crimson, 545 dmg, actually used up all my ac 2 ammo before it got shot off, 10 assists and 1 kill at the end when I brought a light gauss sniping assassin to justice after turning on my sirens and engaging in hot pursuit. (actually I think I got some sort of ammo chain explosion on him because I shot him, saw his arm fly off, he took a couple of steps past me then he suddenly went kaboom. no one escapes the short arm of the urbie.

Gotta try the XL180 2MPL and MRM20, it’s just so awesome - your enemies wither and crumble at your relentless assault!
You could manage STD180, 2 MRM10’s and 2 ML’s.

I just bought a second K9 for my Urbie account, This one I did 5 ER ML, XL 180, 1JJ, Endo and a crap ton of DHS...

Yes, it is good too, i have it from initial sale. But missiles, especially MRM, are better for dealing big amounts of damage, even when it is all spread across the target. More damage = more money.

Though my K9 build is not very effective, it is more for fun - LB-5X (cop with a shotgun), 5 ERSL, and insanely fast 135 engine (yup, i don't play fast urbies). Good damage output overall, but range difference could be better. So my LRM turtle is more reliable to get money home every time.

Santa Urbie build for punishing bad mechs
the subnose PPC can be traded for an ERPPC but the heat and loss of a DHS really limit it

Very fond of SNPPC on my Urbanmechs.

UM-IIC should follow the 60/60L/63 pattern of hard points (maybe cap at 5 hard points) and who WOULDN’T want a cUAC10 Or dual cUAC2 Urbie?!? As for the armor buffs - maybe reduce by 50%? I mean, clan tech basically negates the issues and penalties that gave the IS Urbanmechs their armor to begin with; free armor for lack of speed, crit space for DHS and tonnage to run big ballistics.

I'd personally like a bit more variety, something like an ERPPC or ERLL variant (replacing the big ballistic), LRM boat, mixed ballistic/missile, etc. Currently most Urbies feel a bit too similar.

I like the MRM urbie build best, to be honest. not the most effective, but the most fun.
