[Urban Renewal]

So, I'd appreciate your opinions on what pick-a-'champ mech an Urbie enthusiast should/could/would choose with his reward for raiding the stocking stuffers extra hard.

I've already got c-bill versions of the HGN IIC and HBK IIC, though I'm certainly not above having dupes for creative extra builds.

I know at least one Urbanite is a proponent of the Mauler, though I'm more of an ANH/HGN/STK kind of guy.

I don't really see the Nightstar being a credible compliment to an Urbie-centric deck, but I'm open to new ideas. Unless ... Urbie's mighty steed perhaps? Lol

ROFL-man IIC is the next mechpack. This is the ClanTech heavy that I've been waiting for as a complement to a ClanSide Urbie deck.

we just need the Urbie IIC itself!

It's a slow, gunzy clan heavy. Like really slow. Not like Night Gyr slow, but legit, 48kph (stock, on 4-of-6 varaiats) slow.


With that round hat, and that Jager style, I'm gonna call this an Urbie-IIC-theme-friendly mech. I might even call it Urbie-IIC power armor, like the Urbie/Jager joke from the comic someone posted over at NGNG.

I think it would be a shame to introduce an Urban Mech IIC.
It's very unique at the moment and to give the clan the same mech would diminish that.
The IIC version would certainly not have the generous structure and armour quirks either and would feel more like an uncooked egg compared to the hard boiled IS variants.

Would be far more entertaining for the game to get the Imp added for the IS.

Nice thing about HPPC - you don't give a thing where your shot lands. It will hurt anyway.

Okay, I've been running my Urbie Street Cleaner with 3LPPC, because it seemed like a neat way to use the quirks and hardpoints.

I've been grinding it and the events at the same time. It's been great as I've gotten it more skilled up. When I get left alone to snipe, poptart, and scurry away at top speed while firing in any direction on the run, it builds up a lot of damage and components.
