Will this swamp be of the tall reeds wetlands kind or the creepy, curtains of moss hanging from trees, piss your pants when a frog jumps into the water kind? Because the second would be freaking awesome as a night map.

What I don't get is, what would be so hard about taking advantage of some very obvious "low hanging fruit"?
Create night versions of:
Caustic Valley
Crimson Strait
Canyon Network
Forest Colony
Forest Colony Snow
HPG Relay
Alpine Peaks
Aren't Day/Night settings actual Crysis Engine flags? A simple switch of a single bit, effectively?
A little larger stretch (because I assume that new textures would need to be created/applied):
Create "snow" versions of:
Crimson Strait
Canyon Network
River City
River City Night
Little things like that. Just recycle the current maps with new 'modes'.
Or is there something about map development I'm not understanding? Cure my ignorance if you can, I love to learn!
