Same, though I run a build that can be run on like every mech on it. (besides dual ams thing)

Yep.
Some interesting things: The D and K both had rear-mounted center torso weapons. Can't do it in this game since nothing was done to make it happen.

But another interesting thing... Something that could set the Atlas K apart from the D, RS, and D-DC aside from twin AMS could be something to encourage the fact that the K was designed as a long range platform.

Allow a 20-tube rack. o.O;

Yeah, what I was suggesting before in a balance thread (the one I made with how to balance variants). I also thought of maybe single extra hardpoint of some sort, maybe ballistic? Or module balancing, it's sorta needed to all mechs tbh.

Twin AMS + 2 ballistic would make it more popular, but then wipe out the RS.

Now, if back in the day the devs were thinking about this and the plan to run ECM at some point...

The Atlas D would have 2 missile, 2 ballistic, 4 energy.
The Atlas D-DC would have 2 missile, 2 ballistic, 2 energy and ECM.
The Atlas RS would have 3 missile, 1 ballistic, 4 energy.
Atlas K would have 2 missile, 1 ballistic, 4 energy and twin AMS.

Or perhaps something of the sort.
Now, notice what was done here?

You'd run the D for 8 hardpoints with 2 being ballistic.
You'd run the D-DC for ECM, even at 6 hardpoints. (If ECM properly required Stealth Armor to be invisible to sensors, you'd lose 12 slots and wouldn't fit more anyway).
The RS for the combination of missiles and arm-mounted energy. (Might actually be a bit much, but meh).
And finally because the K is actually intended to be a long range missile + sniper mech, that second missile slot gives you some options.
