LISTEN UP VIDEO MAKERS!

These are AWESOME news!

We can FINALLY get back to work and the private matches make recording scripted story incredible easy, considering the random syncdrops we had to do earlier this year.

We want to thank the people who are responsible for making this relatively low priority feature happen!

Is this going to be a general feature or a private match only feature?

Ah, very good. I was worried they might remove it completely, so it's good to see a toggle. I value my immersion pretty high. ;)

Actually, Russ said you needed premium twice before changing his mind. Nice he did but you can tell what his default is when he says twice that he wants to charge to remove an ugly game-degrading feature.

I hope this option is strictly for the output of recordings and streams only. If this option is extended to cover regular players, then PGI will have wasted their time implementing cockpit glass, let alone shattered glass from damage to the head, later on down the line. Most people will just keep it turned off.

yeah not like single heatsinks, locusts and awesomes, flamers, narcs and command consols were stuff people don't use and is a waste of time... cockpit glass at least enhances the sim feel which is important for some people.

And then there are people like you who always complain, no matter what happens.
They could bring CW tomorrow and you would still complain.

Thank you for letting us turn off a feature that we didn't want in the first place!

Wasted only because everyone hates it. Your statement is only true if everyone turns it off in which it is PGI who did the dumb thing putting it in. Actually, I would guess only 90% hate it as some seem to like its "immersion", However, I hate it and film grain cuz it makes the graphics suck. Anyone who was in early CB knows how good the graphics can look. 12-man also had a huge impact on fidelity too.

Just wondering whether once it is an option, If I even still have the drive to play this game again. It may have been too long.Definitely wont be like it was.

I scare because I care.

"If" they brought it tomorrow, I would not complain but since it is 6+ month away, I will complain away.

I agree, they wasted their time completely on this feature, it brought nothing to the game except for a few, who insisted that you need dirty cockpit glass to make you fell like you were there, and not sitting in a chair in your spare/bedroom, shouting F.U at people 1000 miles away.

while it caused discomfort and reduced enjoyment for as many.

So how many of you use motion blur, I'm curious
