I don't have polite words on this second ridiculous forum reorganization, thus I will not describe my opinion on it due to some respect to Nico.

At least separate balance issues and feature requests and discussion into their own subforums.

Are you trolling or what? N.O.P.E. - is my opinion, my rights do not depend on it anyhow. PGI staff may choose to ignore my questions 'cause of it, sure, but it will just show their inner problems, not mine. Your comment about 'QQish post' made me chuckle, dude, you seriously lack some sense of reality.
Edit: I see you've deleted your post, that was logical decision, so I can delete this response if you want.

For the record I deleted the post before even seeing that you posted. I deleted it because I figured there was no point in a fight.
A fight does not belong in this thread,so if you want to continue debating then as the saying goes "lets take it outside".

How about PGI puts its time into something that will see some use. PGI employees posting in the forums is a rare sight. Akin to Elvis, Bigfoot and UFO reports.

Id like to see the table of recent active topics changed and made more user friendly. Right now, the recruitment threads are constantly being bumped so the discussion threads are lost from the list in short period of time.
For example, instead of having just 1 table with a list of the 8 most recently updated threads, have 8 clickable catagories each opening a table of their own. Catagories should include Recruitment for the top active recruitment threads, catagories for each language so speakers can see the top active threads for their language, Dev Announcements, and others.
Maybe incorporate this with tags.

I just which you didn't have those big category boxes in front of the topics, it's very distracting. You should tuck those away somewhere in a corner. Thread topics should be enough to let people know what a thread is about.

Thank you for taking the time to pointlessly rub it in. Are there any other major community gifts you'd like to complain about? You might try the upcoming SRM fixes, those aren't even out yet.
I don't think it's pointless at all, and it wasn't about rubbing anything in. It was about communicating to PGI what the impact of that particular decision was, for me, at least, now that some time has passed. It's obvious that they know they made a mistake based on this move, but I'm not sure they understand the full impact of the decision.
I'm sad about what happened around here and I'd like to be won back. I'm sure I'm not the only one who fell out of love a little bit with this game. I think it's worth mentioning that to PGI in this context since I see the two events as being correlated. Like I said, I'd like to be won back, I loved this game once, it was all I played for a year plus; and while you obviously disagree, input from folks like me who need to see more to be won back isn't pointless, IMHO.
Sorry I wasn't pro-PGI enough for you, Rebas! Bad Ferret. The gall: not loving and praising every aspect of the MWO experience? Speaking up on issues of concern on the forum, of all places? I should know better.

A year ago, everyone said it would be the death of MWO with the breakup of the GenDesc forum, that "Every Game Has One", and it was a sign that IGP was hiding the rage over the game.
I'm confused

We were wrong
I was totally wrong which is a bit humbling because I guess we all like to think we know best.
Now we have exactly the same problem that we had originally. Threads are getting bumped to the second page by duplications and silliness. It is more difficult to find relevant threads.
I mean, having a sub forum about mech builds was genius. You could pop in to see threads about builds without wading through pages of angry balance threads. Current threads would stay on the first page for a reasonable amount of time.
What is baffling is that when they changed the forums initially people were VERY angry and yet they were absolutely unrepentant.
Now everyone is mostly happy with the forum and they suddenly change it back with an apology.
Did they ask us if we wanted it changed back? How about a pole or a feedback thread open for a while before they make a decision.
Nope.
Just crammed down our throat which is no better than they way they did it last time.

It's proof once again that some people will complain about
Get rid of General Discussion? People whine. Bring it back? People whine.
You eventually realize that people are idiots and you do what is best for the game no matter how many meaningless polls they post and hash tag Twitter events they try to run.

Yup, just shut down the forums, because as PGI has stated, those who use it are just the vocal minority and they receive "overwhelming" response from other venues that are contrary to
Besides, they're building "their vision" of the MW Universe, and who are we to comment on that? Just a bunch of island dwellers, that's who.
This goes for reddit, NGNG, Facebook and Twitter as well. We need to leave the developers to design this game in a vacuum, they know what's best for us after all. We want to have fun wrong.

Well that's pretty much official word from PGI, I mean other than NGNG no one else carries the water or speaks directly for PGI than who you quoted. I do have to agree though, after seeing what PGI and their stooges post I definitely realize they are idiots.

BTW they don't have to list sub-forums of sub-forums on main forum page, just keep main forum page like this but when we click Fan Creations we should see at the top subs asked above, where 'pinned' are actually.
