They need Quickdraw with jump jets and a ballistic hardpoint, bad. Then it might actually get used from time to time.

the only post worth reading,in this whole thread, is the original.
Nice job Cattra. I, at least, appreciate the time you took to make that post.
Shame on the rest of you.

Thank You

there are already mechs with dual ams, in fact my favorite is the stk-5s in a configuration like this http://mwo.smurfy-ne...92545f45da4636e

3 large lasers staggered on left click, 3 large lasers staggered on right click, with mouse 4 and 5 similarly but in groups of 3 at once, and with dual ams and 4 tons of ammo, you'll become very popular with friendly mechs. you'll also want to have both er large on a single button, for sniping
(and in case you're wondering why two er large, so you have a little long range bite for harassment, stealing kills, and killing runners, without murdering your heat management)

you literally become one of these

Ive actually encountered this mech A LOT and it walks a fine line between terrifyingly adept and stupidly disgusting. If it was ECM capable Id have to call bullshit.

TBolt is coming. https://twitter.com/...859511702478848

And if we are good boys and pray to santa real hard we might get the TDR-7SE. ECM capable, JJ capable (quite a stretch though)

Wolverine and Griffin were reinforcement mechs. so maybe that will come later.

TDR-7SE would be fantastic!

*sigh* Please, no more TDR-7SE talk.

1) The mech does not enter production til 3067
2) Jump capable, ballistic toting mech with ECM.

Do we really want MORE poptarting?

No AC20 on the BattleTurd, 3 variants of Locust. No Thunderbolt, Gryffen, or Wolverine.

Yep total waste of time.

The entire addition of 6 variants to what are the newest battlemechs released... WHY?! There are still many variants from Royal, to SLDF, to even standard configurations that never made it into the game for many chassis... why aren't they being introduced to increase playtime of under performing chassis? Or to be a new love/life back into older chassis?

The entire Overlord package was a waste of money when the Shadowhawk was the only reasonable machine of the package...

This blows my mind... so they blow off 2 new mech chassis to complete clans, yet their willing to spend time to make useless variants of the newest crap on the market, all of which offer nothing new or unique to the existing variants, and at a MC drop point to boot...

It amazes me how much PGI is going for a cashgrab and minimal viable product then do all their advertising through their bought 3rd party...

Boy, those agility nerfs to the BLR-3M---- I don't wanna call something DOA, as things oftentimes do find their niche, but that poor thing might make my Banshee feel mobile!

Am looking forward to the ShadowHawks though! (Now hurry up and gimme more Griffin love!)

you say this like it's a bad thing?

But there are some many hunchbacks that could be some much fun ingame with JJ and ECM, or more Cicadas :)

With the release of dynamic weapons visuals, its a quick and easy gap fill given they weren't able to hold back the Wolverine and Griffin to April and May.

Here is a hint as to what we are getting as the new T-Bolt variant.
http://mwo.smurfy-ne...b#i=155&l=stock

No ECM, but the Twinned AMS slots will be very cool.

I wonder how ECM works in Tabletop?

Currently ECM is somewhat okay but I'm feeling that counter-ECM isn't rewarding enough, I don't think ppl turn that thing to counter mode very often and when they do, there's always more ECM around.

That said, I don't care if a heavy come with ECM but a missle boat with ECM will be scary.

the Tbolt is not a heavy hitter, its a hit/run skirmisher, ECM would be what it needs to fill that role. forgot about the jump jets heh!

The Wolverine and Griffin were already completed when the Phoenix mechs were handed out... the ONLY reason we got them early was they mentioned the mechs were coming in those respective months, forgot about it and tried to delay them for the April and May period where now we have no new development happening on chassis we can get our hands on...

If it was so easy to create new variants why aren't we getting new ones every month? Because it's still a cheap and lazy method to creating content that's meant to try and tide over the masses that are still spending money on dreams and promises...
