Another royal variant I use:

Exact copy of CPLT-C1b
Exact copy of KTO-19b

As you can see I already put a SLDF Founders Pack in the game.

TBH I'm very disappointed with them adding the varients for MC only.

Fair enough for new chassis, I can accept that. But I'm pretty annoyed that they felt the need to do it for the new variants of existing mechs.

My SLDF Colour schemes are the Camo Greens and Tans.... simply because from the TRO and most sources the SLDF used Olive Drab with Karki colours... but my unit uses green & black for SLDF... it depends on preference, I find Olive Green then some simple base colours full-fill the job.

They will be C-Bill buyable next week. They did 1 week MC only.

That was a cannonised unit... it was someone's intereptaion that became cannon...

A few references I've found and kept track of, generally consisting of units that have a background in the SLDF:

Pirates - Order of the Faithful SLDF Khaki
Eridani Light Horse SLDF Olive Drab
Merc - Blanc's Coyotes SLDF "standard colors" (represented on CSO as OD/Tan camo)
Merc - Knights of St. Cameron SLDF Camo - Forest green/browns
Merc - Screaming Eagles SLDF colors
Merc - 12th Star Guards SLDF Olive Drab
Merc - Thor's Hammers SLDF Olive Drab
FS - Deneb Light Cavalry SLDF Light Tan
FWL - Fusiliers of Oriente 5th SLDF colors


I'm sure there are more, but it seems that the SLDF used both Olive Drab and Tan/Khaki as their basic colors, and of course also used camo when/where appropriate.

It's not a lot of variety, but at least OD isn't your only canon choice.

That is the reference I typically go to, I find it across many boards. But most Star League are Olive Drab and/or Tan/Khaki as the base with personal regimental highlights or colouring, which leaves it open to the fanbase. My Highlight's in MWO are K'an, I know others who use white, or the purple in terms of Morgan's Lions.

Give the two most under-appreciated mechs in the game (due to size, geometry, hit boxes, lack of JJ, whatever bugs you...) some ECM variants!

They have to make a few bucks somewhere. I won't ever buy a mech a week early, but I know people who just have money and don't mind.
