Hi. I got the Warhammer (or actually the Robotech Tomahawk) 1/72 scale model from Wave and managed to finish it recently.

I always love the Warhammer (and Marauder) and still hoping for a chance for it to appear in MWO or any Mechwarrior games in future.

Hope you guys like it (FYI, I have not glued in the fragile antenna when I took these photos). Kindly let me know if these imaginary are forbidden here.

I'd like to see that mech here too. But unfortunately it looks like something from war hammer, and unfortunately, long ago and far away they sued MechWarrior for the rights to it. so there's no way that it's going to appear in this game. Sad but true. So blame War Hammer. Damn you War Hammer. Damn you!

Great job, this is a better finish than I can usually mange better.

It is Harmony Gold, who hold the US rights to the Robotech/Marcross franchise (not Warhammer/Games Workshop) who sue anyone using a lot of the original Battletech mech designs (they were licensed from someone else but HG then got the US rights, and started enforcing them)

it's actually from ROBOTECH, owned by Harmony Gold. HG is one of the most evil companies to ever walk this incarnation of earth. They sue anyone and anything that even /remotely/ has the looks of their items due to a contractual mishap between Japan and the US due to an actual TRANSLATION ERROR, allowing HG to practically run amok with the lawyer cannon.

Very well done! You've got some serious modeling chops! I haven't been near a model kit in years. :)

Some of the unseens got reseen versions so it's not totally impossible, just unlikely.

I did not purchase from this website (see link below) but this is from Wave Corporation. They produce Robotech models like the (I'm using Battletech names here) Warhammer, Rifleman, Longbow, LAMs, Stinger, Wasp and Phoenix Hawk (the latter without the rear booster jets though).

http://www.hobby-wav...ross/index.html

Alternatively, as Agent Cooper has already suggested, www.hlj.com is another website to get the models.

Btw, you can find my WIP for the Warhammer here.

Edit: missed out the Wave link earlier.

It's a good thing mechwarriors don't where pants, because I would need to change them.

That warhammer looks great.

This mech may not make it to MWO but hey there are plenty of other mechs from battle tech that can still be put into the game. PG just needs to be careful in which ones they can use to avoid court issues.

What would happen if PGI cut a deal with the licence holders of Macross and made them 'guest' appearances from the Macross saga instead of Robotech? At least the Phalanx(missile boat with round arms) could also be included. Keep the Macross names as well. Wasp? No thats a Veritech! Well, here's to deaming...

Nice model !!!
