Both of you actually have a good point in that one thing that would sweeten a "Kerensky Edition" would be:
- Instant Closed Beta Access
So, with that added you'd have something like this:
- All benefits of Legendary Founder's package
- Lifetime Premium Subscription access
- Instant Access to Closed Beta for Pre-Clan invasion era
- Closed Beta Access for Clan Invasion Expansion
- Exclusive: Timber Wolf Prime to be made available after launch of Clan Invasion Expansion
Cost: $240 (All current Founder packages can be upgraded to this level with credit being put towards upgrade)
This would cover pretty much the entire spectrum and would get those pesky Clanners to consider buying in. -_^
Of course, in retrospect I kinda hope that PGI does'nt do this since my hubby would kill me.

This would be more acceptable and with credit applied toward the upgrade, even more so. Of course, this would have to be a limited, one time only offer by the devs.

Aleksandr was a wimp who ran when he should've stayed and fought for his ideals.
Nicholas was a power hungry, self-absorbed, egomaniacal dictator.
Also: my gaming budget is extremely limited, so I'll vote "lack of funds".

Isn't worth $500 to me. . .
Quote
Not interested in any of the 4 mechs that are tagged "Founder" so that's not a selling point either.
Quote
The only game I know of that has a lifetime Sub is LOTRO and, I think it was already mentioned, that one
is only $300. Nothing I've seen so far justifies the extra $200.
Quote
Tempting but again, not worth the $500. Especially if you already have access to the 4 "Founder's" mechs with the attached boost in C-bill earning and XP. (Although, not sure if in-game currency will let you buy the vanity items or not. Which brings me to another point. We don't, at this point, even know what the prices will be set at OR what will even be available for purchase).

Kerensky Cluster? I think i might have missed an announcement somewhere . . .
Quote
Not a clanner so the various Trials don't interest me.
Quote
Pshaw . . ::finger twirl:: Madcat, shmadcat . . Now, if you has said "Battlemaster", you would've piqued my interest but i still wouldn't drop $500 for it.

While I can understand something unique for a package like this, would much rather have the Star League Emblem be something sold in the cash shop. Especially since I don't think the Clans use it anymore as they've all got their own Clan Insignias.

Buy, or no buy?
I'd have to say "Not Buy". The price is just too high and if I tried to spend that much money on something like this, my wife would kill me.
